Treasury is supposed to keep the payment system running, not use it as a veto point to thwart spending allocated and approved by congress or other agencies. This is just an excuse to try to use treasury as an ad hoc line item veto

The @DOGE team discovered, among other things, that payment approval officers at Treasury were instructed always to approve payments, even to known fraudulent or terrorist groups. They literally never denied a payment in their entire career. Not even once.

Pretty fun new #pdx city councilors say they can't have direct constituent contact (email and phone number posted). Even low staffed it is a high paid full time job but leg work only takes like 10 hours a week. I said when running 30 hours a week would just be constituent work.
