I wish I had a 2nd business just so I could work with @JonWhiteStudio again! His technical chops are obvious but what most impressed me was his desire to capture the essence of our company and his ability to translate that into a design.

@JonWhiteStudio @Popple_Vuh Personally, I am looking for an intangible "hey that's better than I remembered" pop from the last few moments of nearly universal shared pop culture. The era before Clinton era telcom deregulation, 9/11, and Napster-iTunes-streaming changed the musical landscape forever.

@Popple_Vuh @fritolaysia Per track, what's more important: [a] familiarity / accessibility / earwormness / plausible-VH1-programmability, or [b] quality? I ask because (to take one example) "Sunny Came Home" was the most *well-known* & *played* Shawn Colvin song of 95–01, but it wasn't her *best.*

Gonna crowdsource some ideas here for a playlist I'm working on called VH1 Bangers. The idea is smooth adult contemporary pop mid 90s to ~'01. I'll take suggestions. Sophie B. Hawkins, Paula Cole, Cowboy Junkies etc. Maybe not "cool" music but definitely VH1 Bangers.
