@BrianZisook I tell most young artists now to build their own teams before they even consider a major. So much good talent out there to help with playlisting, digital marketing, even radio promo! Distro deals can sometimes offer the best of both worlds too. We should do a panel ;)

@tylertringas Is there a breakdown somewhere of how they define “streaming revenues” for this particular offering? I couldn’t find it anywhere but feels important since there are variables that can make a big difference.

Royal has priced their first offering where fans can invest in streaming revenues of a Nas song. If sold out, investors will pay $137.5k for 49.98% of the stream revenue. Estimate that means 56m-92m streams to break-even. Any music folks with opinions on if that's a good oppty?

@SullyBusiness 1. Keep personal overhead very low. 2. Prioritize learning how to be a great entrepreneur over maxing cashflow. 3. Recognize you have time and slow TF down. 4. Say yes to it all early to get exp & grow; say no to everything later to keep focus, once you know what you're about.
