5. Introducing Pear Pro - a terminal designed specifically to help institutions scale a L/S book in a RISK-MANAGED way. Focused more on L/S low lev positioning (with beta rebalancing) rather than active L/S trading. Connect via API keys to KYC'd accounts at HL, Bybit, OKX etc

I'll be serious here for a moment before I return to victory-lapping every breakdown from uptrending compression in both bear markets gave us 20-30% drops from the lowest point - usually the initial wick I've been throwing 50k around for fun, but honestly mid-40 sounds better.

@outpxce starting to weigh time more than price as lows macro seem to form first from price capitulation then time capitulation

Daily market outlook S&P continues to round off on the high timeframe, and price is grinding through 6500 more efficiently than the quick recoveries it had before. Bitcoin relative strength against SPX faded this week. We're in the 72 to 65 range from confluent with 2024's value Dips into the range lows are valid, but grinding below the 63 high volume node from 2024 increases the chances of expanding outside the range in the direction of the high timeframe trend, which is down.

if you're like me and bought a mac mini for openclaw stuff and haven't touched it since claude got good...i found a use for it. install another instance of Claude desktop on it and let it control the computer to run other tasks autonomously while you work on your main machine. it's basically a second employee that never stops.

@ThinkingUSD You have to understand. Most people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured and so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Anyone who is pro KYC, pro governmental controls, and pro centralization is an enemy. The money we make is a byproduct of freeing ourselves and others from financial domination by people we didn’t elect, in a system we have no power over. Being anti Hyperliquid is being anti freedom. Rooting for centralized exchanges, while subverting and counter signaling builders democratizing access to financial products permissionlessly, world wide, in a decentralized manner is pathetic. The venues you use, the products you trade, the assets you hold are the only thing you actually control. Don’t forget what we’re fighting for. Hyperliquid

@kloss_xyz Thank you. Why isn’t anyone mentioning the significant cost-control advantage that OpenClaw offers?

People keep saying OpenClaw is dead because Claude ships every day. That’s like saying Android is dead because Apple dropped an iPhone. One is a closed ecosystem. The other is an open source multi-model system for builders who want control. They’re not playing the same game.

I have to say, it's concerning to me that we’re down -50% and have yet to see any real systemic risk in crypto October 10th was supposed to be MMs and funds getting carried out on a stretcher; the consensus was "someone just went belly up, and we'll see them float to the surface soon" ~6 months later and every major entity has supposedly been able to brush that off? only retail was affected? I don't believe that. we receive fallouts in every bear market; people are cyclically reminded of how silly it is to treat exchanges as bank accounts, leave money in high-yield DeFi protocols, stablecoins aren't always so stable, etc. in previous 'bear markets' my feed was reminded that the word 'contagion' exists, and parroted it excessively. max fear. I don't see why this time would be any different.

@itsolelehmann why not just have claude orchestrate and call APIs like gemini for multi-modal understanding (ie video), image gen, etc?

co-signing. claude cowork/code is still my daily driver for writing and deep work and i don't see that changing. but... i keep reaching for perplexity computer when my task touches multiple models. like yesterday i needed a youtube transcript pulled (gemini handles that better) then wanted opus 4.6 to break it down + help me cook something w it then needed nano banana 2 to cook a thumbnail for it that used to be 3 tabs and a bunch of copy pasting / context switching (which i loathe doing) perplexity just chains them together because it has all the best models in one place scratches a very specific itch that no single model can.
Jack Raines@Jack_Raines

Perplexity Computer lowkey cooks. I've dunked on them a lot for the "let's buy Chrome" and other social media shenanigans, but this thing rips. Been working on overhauling a personal website and needed to do a really tedious re-labeling of blog titles/dates. Claude could do it, Perplexity one-shotted it.
