THE MARKETING FOR GTA 6 IS A TOTAL LETDOWN! I’m sorry to say it, but for me, the promotion is nowhere near what I was expecting. Some will say, "It’s Rockstar, they don’t need marketing," and sure, the game will sell anyway, but the magic around the hype just isn't there… and that’s honestly such a shame. Since 2023, we’ve accepted having very, very little information, but we only accepted that on the condition that the marketing a few months before launch would be incredible and totally new compared to GTA 5 or previous Rockstar titles. And I feel like we’ve been taken for fools a little bit. Sorry, but to me, the marketing is nothing special no real communication for a year and a half, only to come back with a cover reveal and a 20-second video. Back in the days of GTA 5 and 4, we had reveals where artists would paint the cover on walls, etc., so we could discover the art little by little… that was clearly better. Even now, we’ve had pre-orders, sure, but other than that, we got nothing except 60 images dropped all at once. They should have released them gradually, because now there’s probably going to be nothing happening for months, and that’s the issue with GTA 6’s marketing it’s not any bigger than GTA 5’s, and on top of that, it’s much more low-key and rare. Even in game stores, there’s no advertising for the game, nothing. I don’t get it. Sorry, but just because the game sells a ton doesn't mean the marketing is good; it’s just the name of the game doing the work, and we know the quality will likely be there. #GTAVI #GTA6 #RockstarGames

@MooreDividends Bin eigentlich davon überzeugt, dass es eine Disc geben wird (auch wenn ich die Skepsis verstehe). Millionen Hüllen herzustellen ohne Disc, ohne Karte oder sonstiges wäre rausgeworfenes Geld.

Ich muss sagen, dass mich das sehr enttäuscht. Ich bin fest davon ausgegangen, dass es wie damals beim GTA V Release eine CD und eine Karte gibt. Jetzt werden Millionen Plastik Boxen hergestellt wo lediglich ein Download Code drin ist? Dann kann ich es auch direkt im PlayStation Store kaufen. Finde ich sehr schade. Erinnert mich ein bisschen an das Zitat: „You will own nothing and be happy.“

@blutmondhase @zilberkoenig Sehe ich ganz genauso. Er hat es wahrscheinlich übergriffig dargestellt, weil er sich reinwaschen wollte, bzw nicht als Betrüger dargestellt werden wollte. Als er dann merkte, dass man das aber negativ Mowky gegenüber auslegen könnte, rudert er zurück.

@zilberkoenig Ich kann's nur immer wieder sagen... Er ist ein verdammter Lappen und macht für mich aktuell gar keinen Anschein, er wäre das Opfer eines Übergriffes. Für mich wirkt er einfach wie ein Idiot, der seine Freundin betrogen und nicht die Eier in der Hose hatte es zuzugeben.
