A soldier prays for a mentor to teach him how to be the hero his world needs - what he gets is the dark sorcerer who has kill thousands of them. Not he must survive his brutal training beneath the cruel fist of a killer disgusted with Light's champions, while overcoming the demons conquering his world. They know Light best, who first know the Dark. amzn.to/4lKFb9e

@realCarola2Hope I think the reasoning process of "Cells are complicated, therefore Jesus Christ died for your sins" actually skips a few steps here and there.

The more science advances, the more difficult it becomes to be an atheist. Look at this: the most detailed image ever of a single human cell. Your body contains 37 trillion of them. This is divine engineering. God’s masterpiece.

@i0ki_LoL Well, I wrote and published seven, so I might be skewing the numbers a bit.

I genuinely wonder what % of League of Legends players have read a single book in the past year.

@xwanyex I didn’t realize until the second to last line that it was supposed to be read negatively and not with a giga chad narrator

The Plight of the Modern Woman: three meals a day (assisted by modern appliances) washing (throw everything in a machine and then another machine once a week) cleaning (load dishwasher, vacuum, etc as needed) grocery shopping (order online and drive up once a week) housekeeping (Pinterest new curtains as needed) exercise (run on a machine) social labor and emotional labor (?) manage finances and planning (online banking as needed) stay hypervigilant (keep knives out of reach of small children) grow food (put a seed in the dirt and wait) cook from scratch (more appliances) keep family healthy (don’t serve junk food) remain physically appealing (hot shower after running on machine) and be sweet and happy (heaven forbid) all while working 9–5 five days a week (excel spreadsheets, email) ensuring their family feels loved and cared for (somehow different from all of the above)
Kiera 🌱@kieralwellness

You can’t expect women to provide three meals a day, do the washing, cleaning, grocery shopping, and housekeeping, maintain exercise, social labor, and emotional labor, manage finances and planning, stay hypervigilant, grow food, cook from scratch, keep their family healthy, remain physically appealing, and be sweet and happy all while working 9–5, five days a week, and ensuring their family feels loved and cared for. A life of this magnitude is a war of fertility, and 80% of fertility issues are downstream of this.

The time has come to pitch this again. Ever wondered why the military sucks in every movie or show w the zombie apocalypse? “Wait, we gotta prop up our feminist wannabe Mary Sue that can magically field-strip weapons with zero training!” I came at it with a different take. What if the zombies rose, and facing them was a horde of inordinately-excited United States Marines with machine guns and weaponized autism? Welcome to Semper Die.

@Messinadress1 Yeah, that’s the freaking response when someone finds out you’re homeschooled. “They’re not smart enough.” Go outside and touch grass.
