Canada is committing economic suicide in slow motion. The numbers don’t lie. In the past 12 months the private sector, the sector that creates wealth, lost 9.1k jobs. Meanwhile the parasitic public sector ballooned by 53.1k. Over 25.5% of all employed Canadians now work for the government. That is not a workforce; that is a nation of tax-funded dependents at one of the highest ratios in recorded history. This is textbook malinvestment and crowding-out on steroids. Real wealth doesn't come from government paycheques; it is created through voluntary exchange, entrepreneurial risk, and capital accumulation in the private economy. Every new bureaucrat, regulator, and crown-corporation hack must be fed, housed, and pensioned by the shrinking productive base. That means higher taxes, higher debt, and the hidden tax of inflation as Ottawa prints or borrows to keep the creature alive. The result? Crushed incentives to invest, innovate, or hire. Capital flees to jurisdictions that still reward productivity. Young Canadians watch their real wages stagnate while housing, groceries, and energy soar. Living standards don’t rise on government jobs programs they collapse when the tax-serfs who actually generate the revenue can no longer carry the load. This trajectory is completely unsustainable. Slash the public payroll. Cut taxes to the bone. Abolish the regulatory web. Return capital and decision-making to the private sector. Do it now, or watch the Canadian standard of living slide into the dustbin of history right beside every other over-governed nation that ignored the immutable laws of economics. The choice is no longer ideological. It is existential.

When you look at the raw data of what's happening in Canada's labour force things are even worse. Canada hasn't had any growth in private sector employment in a year. In fact, Canada lost 9.1k jobs over the past 12 months ❗️

Canada's economy is in freefall -84,000 jobs in February (vs +10k expected). Biggest drop since June 2024. Unemployment jumps to 6.7%. ALL losses full-time (-108k) — private sector hammered (-72.6k), even public down 17k. This is what runaway Liberal taxes, red tape, anti-energy crusades, and capital flight look like. Enough Liberal failure. Let's rebuild prosperity. Time for real conservative common sense: Slash taxes & regulations to stop capital bleeding south. Unleash Canadian energy & resources. Prioritize strong, fair US ties over risky China deals. Put Canadian workers FIRST — not ideological green agendas or foreign appeasement

BREAKING Canada LOST 52K private sector jobs in January. Carney promised the "fastest-growing economy in the G7." Instead, he's delivered PATHETIC 1.2% GDP "growth", kept anti-development laws in place & approved ZERO major projects. Carney's rhetoric NEVER matches reality.

This helps to flip the script, your home is your castle we should be allowed to defend it without fear of prosecution. If a violent intruder breaks into your home and threatens your family, you shouldn't be the one hauled into court like a criminal. Enough with coddling criminals while victims suffer. Support The Stand on Guard Act (Bill C-270) from MP @SandraCobena_
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre

If someone threatens you or your loved ones at home, you must be able to defend yourself. The Stand on Guard Act, introduced by MP @SandraCobena_, will protect Canadians’ right to defend their homes and families: conservative.ca/cpc/defend-you…

Exactly Pierre! For a decade, Liberals have blocked pipelines, killed projects & choked our energy sector with red tape & anti-development laws. Now Carney's 'eyeing moves' after a year of zero action? Pure illusion & incompetence. Time to unleash Canada's energy powerhouse!
Pierre Poilievre@PierrePoilievre

“Eyeing moves to boost oil production?” What a foolish headline. Mark Carney has not approved a single pipeline, his major projects office has approved no projects, nor has he repealed a single Trudeau-era anti-development law. Now, a year into his term, he is “eyeing moves?” It is all an illusion.

Mises obliterated the entire socialist project in 1920 with one devastating insight: "Where there is no free market, there is no pricing mechanism; without a pricing mechanism, there is no economic calculation." The socialists spent the next century pretending this problem didn't exist while their economies collapsed around them. And yet here we are, watching politicians promise they can "fix" healthcare, housing, and energy markets through central planning. They can't even calculate the cost of their own programs correctly — how exactly are they going to allocate resources across an entire economy? Every Venezuelan breadline, every Soviet grain shortage, every Chinese famine was just Mises being proven right in the most brutal way possible. But sure, let's try democratic socialism this time. What could go wrong?

A critique of Mark Carney’s Book “Value(s) - Building a Better World for All”. This is a very dangerous book unambiguously pushing a top down, globalist agenda that will enslave and impoverish all who follow his agenda. youtu.be/0aHGcRTnQ54

Canada's bloated bureaucracy is killing us! StatsCan Jan 2026: 4.6M public sector jobs out of 18.4M total or 25% of workforce, up from 22% in 90s. Public sector grew 27% thru 2024 vs the private sectors measly 13.4%. Public sector earns 4.8% more while taxpayers foot the bill! This fuels massive deficits, crushes our productivity, and strangles the economy. Carney's "cuts" of 16K over 3 yrs? Pathetic band-aid on a hemorrhage. Time to slash govt fat, cut taxes, regulations and unleash the private sector!
