As a Lebanese, this is one of the happiest days in Lebanon’s history. As a Middle Easterner, this is one of the most transformative days for the Middle East. As a human being who holds peace before my eyes, this is the most important day for our region. Nasrallah and Hezbollah have terrorized the Lebanese people since the 1980s. He is responsible for the continuous downfall of Lebanon’s economy and sovereignty. He bears responsibility for countless assassinations of fine Lebanese men and women, solely for opposing his grip on our precious country. Nasrallah is also responsible for the slaughter of thousands of Syrian children, women, and men, as well as for other atrocities across the Middle East. Every Lebanese and every decent human being should feel joy at the downfall of one of the greatest evils of our time. Now, we have a real chance to look forward, ensuring Hezbollah’s weapons are handed over to the Lebanese authorities, and sitting down with Israelis and the West for genuine negotiations on normalization and peace between our countries—Israel and Lebanon.

יש לי כמה שאלות על ההתנהלות סביב סגירת כנסיית הקבר בתקופה הכי חשובה עבור העולם הנוצרי, נראה ששוב פספסנו בגדול כי הזירה כרגע פרוצה לגמרי כלפי אנטי ישראליים. ההחלטה לסגור את כנסיית הקבר מובנת לנו הישראלים, גם הר הבית ואל-אקצה נסגרו, כך גם התקהלויות במקומות דתיים יהודיים. חג הפסחא הוא החג הכי חשוב עבור הנוצרים בכל העולם, סגירת הכנסיה בעת הזאת לא ברור לעולם, שעוד שיש מלחמה אך לא מבין את ההבדל בין מלחמות עבר שההתנהלות נמשכה כרגיל, גם אגב בתקופת הקורונה. וכשהררי דיווחים מאשימים את ישראל בסגירה מטעמים ״לא עניינים״ יש לי כמה שאלות: 1. למדינת ישראל, במיוחד למשרד התיירות, יש קשר עם כלל ראשי הכנסיות הנמצאות בארץ. האם קראתם לפגישה של ראשי הקהילה הנוצרית, שנמצאים כאן כשליחים לכנסיות האם שלהם מהוותיקן ועד לכנסיה האורתודוקסית והזרמים האחרים, לדיון חירום סביב קיום התפילה בכנסיה? 2. האם היה נסיון לבצע תפילה מצומצמת של ראשי הקהילה הנוצרית ללא נוכחים, כמו ההנחיות שהיו בתקופת הקורונה והאם ההצעה הזאת עלתה לדיון? 3. במידה והיה דיון, מה היו תוצאותיו? והאם היה נסיון לשתף פעולה עם ראשי הכנסיות בהעברת המסר הזה בצורה מסודרת? 4. ולמה לעזאזל אין לנו דובר שמסביר את הדבר הזה בכל פלטפורמה אפשרית? אנחנו כבר שלוש שנים במלחמה אתם עוד לא מבינים את החשיבות של העברת מסרים מסודרת? @IsraeliPM @HaimKatz_

Israel’s targets against Hezbollah during the last 15 months was part of the mechanism the US, Israel and Lebanon signed on in the ceasefire in November 2024. The Knesset didn’t approve the invasion before Hezbollah fired its rockets, the cabinet prepared for that scenario. Seriously asking, do you think they wouldn’t have planned if Hezbollah joins the war? Like are you that ignorant or just making yourself seem like one to give Hezbollah every excuse possible?

why was israel bombing for 15 months straight, why did they have their troops on the border before hezbollah joined, why did the Knesset approve to invade lebanon before hezbollah launched those rockets. why was a few rockets that went to an empty field enough for israel to start an all out war when they have been bombing everyday and killing civilians like i said for 15 months. this last one was not started by hezbollah was started by israel bottom line
