Purdue won so this won’t get talked about much. But this is one of the worst “Foul” calls I’ve ever seen. Absolute horrendous call that almost cost Purdue the game.

Isaiah Pacheco x.com/drjessemorse/s… Right Knee MCL sprain confirmed It’s almost like I know what I’m talking about I tweeted this within 2 minutes of the injury. I could easily done this in live television with the same level of confidence. Any broadcast network adding an injury expert will be a trend-setter. Discussed it further here this morning: youtu.be/UqDJkbr-q6Q?si…

One day, you might meet a nice, handsome man who is perfect in every way. He will take you on dates. Make you laugh. Cook you nice dinners. And then one day, in September, he will wake you up at 7am on a Saturday to go watch football. These are the sacrifices we make.

@heyalexfriedman Honestly a really interesting and important question. Generally speaking, I am a massive proponent of healthy self improvement (working out, healthy diet, etc.) and feel like these companies could fall into that category, but the line can be crossed very quickly

Super happy with this 14-team PPR league! Got my WR1 in Brian Thomas Jr. at the 1.07 ahead of Puka/ARSB/Nico/Nabers/London and CMC/Henry/Jeanty. Still secured who I consider a top 4 RB in Chase Brown, then snagged potential monster George Kittle, underrated RJ Harvey as my RB2. Calvin Ridley should be a solid WR2 and my favorite draft pick Emeka Egbuka in my flex. Got sniped for one of the best values this year in Drake Maye, so ‘settled’ for Dak Prescott who I expect to be a gunslinger.

I have OCD. I’ve lived with it for years, but only got an official diagnosis last year. The last few days have been rough… lots of rumination, hard to get out of my head. When it spikes, it’s often easier to retreat but still I push to get out of the house, distract myself, and connect with people. Yesterday I went to one of my favorite Vietnamese spots in Austin, Pho Please. It’s an order-at-the-counter spot. I wasn’t up for much, so I just got spring rolls, sat at a table alone and ate quietly. When I finished, the manager walked by and asked if I was waiting on an entree. I told her no, but mentioned I was debating ordering something else. She smiled and said, “Pick something out, I’ll ring it in for you at the counter.” I decided on pho and pulled out my card, but she waved it off saying “No, it’s fine.” Later, as I was eating, she came back and gently asked, “Are you feeling better now?” Like she could just see something was up. When I went to try to pay at the end, the other employee just smiled and said, “No, that was on the house… our treat.” I pleaded with them to let me pay or tip more, but they wouldn’t hear it. I thanked them again and made it to my car before I started crying… not because of the soup (though I do love soup), but because I felt seen on a day when all I wanted was to disappear. Our minds (OCD or not) often convince us that the world is bad, that people are bad, that situations are bad, that WE are bad. And yet yesterday, outside my favorite little pho place, I was reminded that isn’t always true. Sometimes, you just have to step out of your head (and house) long enough to see it.

@Aiwithkumail This first point is pretty misleading, hunter-gatherers took ~14-18K steps per day and we only take ~5K today. Standing up every 10-15 minutes isn’t close to cutting it, you need to proactively get as many steps in as possible and avoid a sedentary lifestyle

Really big fan of anyone who chooses to make life even just .1% easier for their fellow human. Offering to grab something if you’re already getting up. Spending an extra five seconds to hold a door for someone whose hands are full. Leaving enough space when you park so the next person doesn’t have to fight their way in. Letting someone with fewer items go ahead in line. Holding the elevator when you see someone coming. Tossing a wrapper for someone if you’re already headed to the trash. Scooting over on the bus or train so there’s room. Helping someone shorter reach a shelf, or someone smaller pull down their luggage. Not really grand gestures, but micro-decisions. Little acts of consideration that cost nothing but add up to a world that feels softer, kinder, more human.

Screw fantasy football team chemistry. We draft Rashee Rice AND Jordan Addison. Rice covers Addison's suspension, Addison covers Rice's. Hell, throw Jameson Williams in there too. You never know.
