This thinking is backwards imo.
The Steelers offensive design was fine under Arthur Smith. He was hindered by the QB and personnel, not the other way around, and had to adjust the scheme to make it work. We didn’t get to see the real Art Smith offense in 2025.
In 2026, the scheme is *different* and more suited to the QB, and the personnel is clearly better. The limitation of the QB is still there, and so the ceiling of the offense is still low imo.
