Four games. Three defeats. Two by one point. One by two. 83 frees leading to 0-16 conceded. 79 frees in exchange for 0-11 for. A score difference of -4. The fine margins and falling on the wrong side of them. Report from Ardee:

When enough is enough and stepping away is the only option. Very personal piece, put together over the past few months: m.independent.ie/regionals/lout…
@SmallerFishGAA We all make mistakes but sure it’s great to get them highlighted god love any referee now with the impact that social media has in highlighting them @SmallerFishGAA why would anyone want to be a referee!
Of all the talking points from tonight’s County Board meeting, the most bonkers thing to be said came from Pat Toner, Central Council delegate. The GAA are looking at changing minor to U19. I mean, are they actually seeing how much piss they can take at any one time? #minorisu18
@CaoimhinReilly Absolutely disgusting from the LCB to tell man he his no longer wanted before he goes out to ref the biggest game off his career inside 24hrs The LCB SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES best of luck David do us proud
David Fedigan won’t be Louth GAA’s underage referees’ administrator in 2022. I understand he was told of the decision tonight. He takes charge of the Kildare/Westmeath clash in the O’Byrne Cup tomorrow.
If clubs had seven players out with hamstring injuries, they’d have to play the game. If a club has 15 available players (some have more than 60!), why can’t they play the game. It’s sport, shit happens.
I remember doing a story with Stephen Kenny a few years back where he said Rovers had ‘thrown the kitchen sink’ at Sean Gannon to get him to sign. With how Dundalk have treated him, I’d say they only needed to peg the dish cloth at him this time around. A club legend, class act.
@WayneKierans Fair play if only the management committee put as much effort as you and your management team and players put in it might have been a better out come at least next man will have a better panel of youth and experience than you inherited the county owes you more than they think 👏
@patrick12358362@CaoimhinReilly Every player from the 30 who starts the game to the subs that come in should all be treated equally maybe your talke on the rules are different to mine... don’t get me wrong we make mistakes but tell me a player who never made a mistake...?
@patrick12358362@CaoimhinReilly So us as referees are to blame how shocking we have performed over the last 70 years only asking cause I know from a referees point of view we go out there to referee a game and you say footballers and you mean footballers are not protected....sorry this is just me saying it but
Local GAA hacks are fans with typewriters and today was one of the most difficult I’ve had following Louth. And it’s not only one thing that’s wrong, rather a multitude which have developed over years of CB mismanagement. I don’t blame the players whatsoever. Tiocfaidh ar la.
Louth GAA are delighted to announce O'Connells clubman, Wayne Kierans as our new County Senior Football Team Manager on a 2 year term. Wayne led our minors to the 2017 Leinster Minor Final and was in charge of our Under 20's this year.
We wish Wayne the very best of luck.
