A SHAMEFUL DAY IN NEW ZEALAND HISTORY In New Zealand we are in the midst of a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the NZ Covid response. Next week the political key decision makers, including former PM Jacinda Ardern, were all scheduled to testify at the public livestream session, cross examined by the Royal Commissioners Today they have announced that collectively (but they stress with no collusion) they will not be appearing. They refuse. Their reasons? *They are already cooperating behind closed doors *Politicians should not have to be publicly observed answering questions *They are worried for their safety *They are worried that their video testimony can be tampered with and used nefariously. The Royal Commission DOES have the powers to override their refusal, and compel them to appear. They have decided instead to play nice and not use these powers. We are a land deeply fractured by the Covid response. Social cohesion is at an all time low....and with this cowardly refusal to "back their decisions" publicly, our former Covid decision makers have further deeply altered the fabric of our land. Where there was low trust in authority....there will now be none Trust in the authority, powers, independence and transparency of the Royal Commission process - gone. Tonight, I contemplate (with a very heavy heart) the tens of thousands of emails and private messages I have received in the past 4 years, as the founder of The Health Forum NZ (supporting Covid vax injured and vax mandated). Four years of silencing, gaslighting, diminishing, branding, name calling and social derision for thousands of New Zealanders....and now this. I stand in forever solidarity with the: mRNA injured and maimed The families who lost a loved one following their mRNA injection Those who have permanently lost connection and relationship with their family due to refusing to take a Covid injection and being branded a conspiracy theorist and pushed out. Those who watched a love one die alone in a hospital or rest home, saying goodbye through an I Pad held by a nurse Those who lost their job, profession, mana, income through workplace vaccine mandates Those who were mandated, took an injection, sustained an mRNA injury, only to have a medical exemption declined. They lost their job AND were injured. The teenagers who now live with permanent heart damage from the Pfizer - many of them took it due to mandates in their workplace (supermarkets). New Zealanders who could not get back into their own country for 2 years due to closed borders and MIQ lotteries. Small business owners who went bust (still happening now) due to endless lockdowns My children and grandchildren....and yours too....who will be paying off the $66 BILLION our Prime Minister borrowed for the Covid response, for years to come. The list is much longer, but this gives you the smallest glimpse of the trail of destruction, despair and DISTRUST that lies in the wake of the decisions made by the then NZ government. Those same people who now believe they are above standing before New Zealand and openly and transparently justifying their decisions.
