Doing some research for our @The_GA conference workshop on literacy. These questions are applicable to all.
Other than text books:
Which books do you currently use in your geography curriculum?
How do you use those books?
How do you provide the texts?

What do we think about this fun way to teach about clouds?
For resources on clouds, our In the know series has a book on Weather, Clouds and Precipitation which you use for lessons!

@Exeter_Airport@FlyLoganair I believe I left a jacket on your flight from Newcastle to Exeter yesterday! I was wondering if it had been found I’ve tried to ring Exeter airport multiple times and emailed!
@missgeog92 We teach through texts. Each term students have a new guiding question they have to answer which incorporates most of their subjects. I teach English, history , geography and RE in one subject called human. Certainly creates strong links between subjects
Really keen to bridge gaps between subjects at KS3 and explore transferable skills, common themes and language. Has any school done this that would be willing to chat? Or is there anyone that would like to explore this with me?
Many happy memories going here with dad. Such an amazing place which inspired my education. It would be devastating to Newcastle if this closes #saveside
