@CoachTManes I know the feeling, use to do my scout report run fit: of top runs on hudl. Then copy it and flip it for scout team on Monday so it would still have fits on it. Having PTSD seeing the fits backwards.

@CoachVass @MikeMoody334 @coachvint Need to listen to Vass, you actually got it backwards. There’s more Head Coaches and even some Coordinators now who are hired for recruiting. The assistants, analysts are where the most knowledgeable guys are. Of course this isn’t everywhere. But it’s happening a lot more now.

There are some high school coaches who get a $1500 stipend that would coach circles around guys making $500k.

@Jonesjc1 @Brandon_L_Davis @Mbounge_ Would argue that it fails to do that too, simply because it allows them to start in a shooting position. You never, ever get to start in a shooting position. You have to catch or gather the ball and transition into it, and orient towards the goal, almost always while moving.

A plain basketball goal is one of the best pieces of tech on the market. A goal gives feedback on your shot the same way measuring sprints or jumps gives feedback on athletic qualities. Plus, a basketball goal works as a poor man’s vertec. This machine is inferior in every way.

@Brandon_L_Davis @Mbounge_ I believe the equipment’s purpose is to teach proper form when shooting. I believe it does that. Very good investment for an elementary and middle school program wanting to teach proper mechanics in shooting.

@DCAcademy11 Set a wall. Set it fast, set it hard. Ball doesn’t get by you horizontally, make the ball cutback inside as fast as possible. Minimize the void between you and interior pursuit as fast as possible.
