I hate how they did Tek Knight in the show
In the comics he was actually one of the more decent superheroes and he actually died saving someone
And his problem with holes is treated as a sickness that he HATES and he active pushed his sidekick away so he wouldn’t hurt him

@tumultuoscalm I really enjoyed Jack's small role, how he sort of took A-train under his wing. I feel like the show tried to do a similar thing with The Deep and Black Noir 2, but the deep is such and idiot compared to Jack so it doesnt work and ends up being just constant joking.

I appreciate that Vought’s consistently the main evil the boys are up against, I feel for a while the show understood this but once they leaned into making Homelander a Trump parody they lost that

@RealLifeFakeWiz Oh look the series based on a comic that was specifically political and had no substance is exactly that. And dude the show IS ending. This is the final season. Media literacy is an option but apparently not necessary to form opinions and put them out.

@_Godotto I prefer the comics because you can tell it’s from one guy that really cares about what he’s talking about. Also I think the Boys themselves and homelander are better written in the book tbh

as much as I'll criticise it it's genuinely nice to see someone on here reading thru The Boys and enjoying it for what it is rather than the usual "oh my god im so glad the show is totally completely different to the AWFUL book" we get on here

Update: Due to medical issues, TYLOO has withdrawn from the PoB grand final that was earlier delayed to ensure the team could attend.
Lynn Vision will be crowned champions of the tournament without playing a single map in the playoffs.

Still not done with Yuqilin PoB drama; TYLOO v LVG grand final (originally set for 5pm CST, ~20min from now) pushed back by 3 hours. Means TYLOO can now easily transit and play, unlike the last two days. Couldn’t reschedule any of the other previous games though!

@VLADOPARD No, tyloo didn't "refuse" to play in the final. The 1st map was 4-3 when moseyuh collapsed and has now been hospitalized. Tyloo also started the match with their coach playing instead of JamYoung who was also too ill to play.
