@midifire @wizard_goblin26 Not really, no, at least for what the story tries to convey. Almost point of the narrative focuses on the characters, with the worldbuilding being mostly left to interpretation from the viewer and such.

@Jonkler075 @wizard_goblin26 I feel like deep world building is not really needed for something like Signalis. It’s a pretty linear game where the story tends to not need a whole lot of lore. It isn’t a game like disco elysium which is allowed and somewhat needed to have walls of text related to countries.

@midifire @wizard_goblin26 It's kind of like the christianity aspects in Evangelion. They're purely there for the aesthetic. It's a shame that the worldbuilding is so insanely vague, we basically know nothing of the Eusan Nation or the Empire

@wizard_goblin26 Signalis doesn’t even really feel like it portrays the Eusan Nation as communist. It just takes some aesthetics from some socialist countries, but it feels more fascist than anything.

@_Aemeath_ am i wrong? genshin never launched in as horrible of a state as cyberpunk did, and genshin's story is simply much richer and detailed while also being longer, and it'll only get longer. it's simply more interesting. cyberpunk's story is yet another "guy in my head" story 🙄
