If you need truly dynamic styles with Tailwind, the pattern I always reach for is setting a CSS variable dynamically as an inline style, and referencing that CSS variable with a static class. This is easy for Tailwind to statically analyze, and produces less CSS too.

@adamwathan I would consider to fix this as in the PR suggested, but I would not provide a settings for this. One strength of tailwind is the possibility to copy between projects, and this would make it more complicated

In Tailwind, every font size utility includes a sensible default line-height for that size. But this means that even if you explicitly set `leading-tight`, a class like `lg:text-2xl` will override that line-height at `lg` screens. I can "fix" this — would it be better?
