Its looks as if the main band of rain will clear by 3pm, but further showers are possible on the back edge. Very limited brightness and feeling very cool for the end of August. Highs of around 17C..

Standard horror show start to air fest tomorrow with heavy rain piling in from the west throughout the morning. It may become a little more patchy during the afternoon, but heavy showers are still likely and these could turn thundery too.

Air Festival weekend still remains in the balance weather wise. The Thursday certainly looks rather unsettled with heavy showers piling in throughout the day. More uncertainty by the weekend, but wall to wall sunshine currently looks unlikely.

Its not necessarily prolonged or overly warm, but next week looks fairly encouraging. We should see high pressure build and warmer air arrive. Sunny spells and temperatures into the high teens likely.

A clear signal for something warmer after the middle of the month. I suspect we will see our first 20C+ day between 17th-19th April. A brief unsettled spell before then.
