@JonormousB Years ago in the Brit Museum, safely behind glass, I read the original handwritten words of the scene where Rochester's wife is discovered in the attic. I could make a snarky comment about your ma-in-law, but I am showing restraint. 😁 (I was not behind glass, the words were.)

@VanderwerkenJ Do you know, I've never done that. I must get up there and have a look round. I always leave these things later than I should. I didn't visit Shakespeare's birthplace until after I left Stratford-upon-Avon when I was 20. I lived just don the road!😂

@VanderwerkenJ I liked history, but in a time where remembering dates was a big deal, I simply couldn't remember them. I loved the weird and wonderful stories.e.g the "Warming-Pan Baby" scandal of 1688 (basically, fake news), the Rainhill trials (A train race!) I failed it 3 times & gave up.

@JonormousB She was riding thru town naked, and then had over-priced chocolates named for her. I know a few scraps of history. In school, I hated history. Memorized facts for tests; after the tests, the facts flew out of my brain. 😁👍
