Thank you. You give us hope for the future. Out of three conservative children, the two who went to college became so leftist/woke after going to college that they cut off their relationship with me. The third speaks to me, but barely - I have to be very careful about the subjects I bring up. They're in their 30s and 40s now... I didn't know how effective the college indoctrination system was.

Honestly, I think it’s ridiculous that every time I drop off my 2yo at Montessori, I have to drag in my 7 mo who weighs like 28 pounds in a stroller instead of just leaving him in the car for like two minutes tops. I’ve thought about doing it, but I could imagine one of the parents telling on me or something.

On the Gateway computer my family bought in 1999 its screensaver was a timelapse of someone painting a picture at 2x speed. This beautiful and detailed digitally-drawn image would come to life over 20 minutes. I was transfixed by it that first week. A lost medium.

Admittedly, much of Bob's post-Castaway work has been hit or miss - but "Flight" is great! "The Walk" in IMAX was incredible. "Here" was actually really sweet and neat! I think he gets too wrapped up in gimmicks, but he's still got real talent.

@Philip_DT Another way to frame that: A tight and narrow space where depth/ width is sometimes hard to gage. vs. the huge space of the main parking lot itself where precision isn't necessary. Also - pulling in is quicker! Sometimes I'm in a rush when I arrive. Never when I leave.

This is so dumb. You either have to back in or back out. When you’re backing up you have less visibility. You have to chose to have that reduced visibility: - when entering an empty parking space OR - when entering the parking lot lane with moving cars and pedestrians.
