Let's talk...
After pulverizing my social media presence on my original account, I think this is a great opportunity to reflect on my journey and what led me to this decision.
As most of you already know, I’m in the 🍍lifestyle. This summer it will be 9 years since we started that journey, so I’ve been a little naughty well before I created OF.
In 2022, I decided to share some of my journey with the world. I created my spicy Twitter account (X was still Twitter back then) and shortly after, I also created my OF. Before that, I had limited experience sharing my body online, but enough to know how to navigate the space.🖤
When I started OF, I struggled to record myself in an intimate setting for more than 30 seconds. I felt awkward and had trouble being free in front of the camera. It’s been a long journey of exploration from then until now.
Over the past 4 years, I’ve fallen in love with lingerie and a variety of kinky outfits. I’ve opened myself up to experimenting with all kinds of toys, and I’ve done things on camera that I never would have imagined doing even privately before. From barely being able to film myself for 30 seconds to creating full-length videos and filming myself until the job is done 😏
Along the way, I’ve met wonderful people, some only online, others in person. Creators, fans, and fellow swingers. When it made sense, I’ve met up with people, and when we could, we created content together
Over the last 4 years, I’ve become so much more confident in my body, in my sexual exploration, a lot more social at swinger events, and so much more. It’s hard to condense all my progress into a single post without writing a book.
…Which I’ve also done! I’ve written a book that’s heavily inspired by my own story.
So where am I going with this?
For all the positives, there have been some trade-offs. If you’ve followed my original account for long enough, you’ve probably seen the posts where I vented my frustrations, often because I felt like I had to post every single day. Something new, bigger, better… more, more, more.
For more than 2 years, I made sure there was a new post on X and OF every single day.
Sometimes pouring my heart and soul into my content would reward me with big analytics spikes that boosted my OF numbers and, more importantly, my dopamine levels. Other times, it would flop. And almost without fail, whenever I failed to keep up a certain posting volume, my analytics would take a nosedive. It became a seemingly endless cycle of ups and downs.
I was posting because the “market” demands it, and by trying to keep up with full-time adult creators, I put myself in a hamster wheel that was far from my original vision. I completely lost sight of what I actually wanted my online presence to be. Any time I tried to show more of my personality and it didn’t perform well, I took it as feedback that I should do less of that and just post more spread legs with my bare 🐱 on display.
Don’t get me wrong, I loved creating some of those posts, but others were 100% published just because I felt I had to, simply to maintain my online presence.
So here we are today… I made a conscious decision to step off that hamster wheel. To do it, I had to dust off this secondary account and just be myself here. Not trying to keep up with my peers has lifted an immense amount of pressure off my shoulders, and it’s actually made me enjoy this space again the way I did when I first started.
Trying to keep up with full-time adult creators was never a good idea. It’s not me, it’s not why I started this, and it’s not what I want to do. I prefer to put my personality front and centre, with the teasing nudity as added flavour.
So I’ve wiped my original account of all posts, the ones I was proud of and the “filler” content alike. I did it to turn the page and start a new chapter, one that feels closer to the brave, humble beginnings of a curious hotwife.
This account will continue to be my main outlet. The original account will now be used for some of the spicier stuff I want to share, as well as a space where I highlight other creators by resharing their posts. I wouldn’t be where I am without the support and guidance I received from larger, more experienced creators, so I’ll always try to pay it forward.
