We welcome this strong sentence and thank @CPSUK and @metpoliceuk for their work on this case. This sentence sends a clear message that antisemitic hate will not be tolerated, and that those responsible will be held to account, particularly at a time of rising antisemitism. We will continue to work closely with police and the CPS to support efforts to bring offenders to justice.

Today at the SU Awards ceremony my campus looked like a Middle East rally. Four videos. Palestine Society members sweeping almost every single award. Keffiyeh tea towels draped over them, the song “My Blood is Palestinian” blasting through the speakers, Palestine flags waved in every direction like it’s their university, not ours. Watch it for yourself ⬇️ This is the same society reported by @GBNEWS for calling for jihad in group chats and passing around Jewish students’ photos. They don’t just hate Jews - they hate Britain and the West too. Yet the SU building has a “no flags” policy. An Israel flag would supposedly cause “alarm and distress.” But the flag worn by the October 7 terrorists? That gets paraded around a Surrey university with zero problem. This isn’t a “student protest.” This is a British campus in the Home Counties being turned into something unrecognisable. Years of Conservative and Labour failure got us here. Open borders, two-tier policing, universities captured by radical ideology while the rest of us pay the bills. Britain is broken. We don’t need more of the same - we need radical change.
