My role at Meta is a bit different than you might expect, & for those of you who’ve asked if I can make videos about non-Meta hardware & tools, the answer is absolutely, honestly without doing so, I wouldn’t be able to truly help the XR community, this also helps me in staying relevant with this rapid & evolving industry.

Really hoping the add on camera / 6dof is good and app development isn’t too difficult for all platforms 🤞I developed applications when it was NReal in the early days and it was really promising then

@RexGatling1 @XREAL_Global Amazing and thanks for getting back to me, I’m really looking forward to developing on it. Are there any limitations on developing for the one pro and possible to develop on IOS?

@Jonway85 @XREAL_Global It works pretty well. It can get a little tricky with the FOV, which hurts the handtracking sometimes, depending on how far the content is away from you. But grabbing and moving the objects around its pretty solid because it uses XR Interaction Toolkit.

#GDC2025 Day 2! We’ll be at the Meta booth expo, talking to developers about MR tools for Unity and Unreal. We’ll have developers on the ground who work on the SDKs you use daily, ready to answer any questions. ℹ️ There are also multiple computer stations featuring the demo I put together, where you can build the project and ask questions as you go through the process.

We are devastated by the death of our beloved Colleague, Rob Punshon. Rob joined us in June 2007, serving his first 4 years at Perry Barr, then Aldridge before becoming an integral part of the Response team. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
