Joplin Boys Golf

The Joplin golf team shot their season low score of 320 today at districts! Toby Ipsen will be moving on to the state championships with his career low of 73! Kai Benfield also shot his career low of 79, Landon Carter an 83, Jordan Bozarth an 85 and Vincent Smith a 102.

The Eagles competed today at Fremont Hills for the Ozark Varsity Tournament. Toby Ipsen led the way with an 82, Vincent Smith followed with an 86, Jordan Bozarth and Kai Benfield carded 88’s and Landon Carter a 94. The Eagle team score was 344.

The Eagles competed at the Cassville Invitational today. Kai Benfield led the team and had a 3rd place finish with an 80. Toby Ipsen followed with an 83, Jordan Bozarth 86, Landon Carter 102, and Evan Iseli 104.

The Eagles JV competed at the Lamar JV 9-hole tournament today. The team came in 3rd place with Bennett Robertson (46) leading the way with a 7th place finish and Vincent Smith (48) with a 9th place finish. Jayden Camerer shot a 55, Bentley Harmon a 56, and Jackson Drinkwitz a 59

Today was the Joplin Invitational at Twin Hills. Rockhurst received 1st place with a team score of 294. Reece Roberts - Fort Scott was the individual champion after 2 playoff holes and shooting a 72-even par on the day. The Eagles shot a team score of 355 led by Kai Benfields 86.

The Eagles competed at the Mo State Relays today at Bill & Payne Stewart GC. Landon Carter in his first varsity tournament fired his personal best, 80 to lead the way for the Eagles! Toby Ipsen and Kai Benfield followed with 87’s. Jordan Bozarth 92 and Evan Iseli 101. Team: 346

The Eagles competed at the Liberty North Invite today at Winterstone GC. Toby Ipsen led the team with an 84, followed by Kai Benfield’s 91, Evan Iseli’s 97, Jordan Bozarth 102 and Vinnie Smith 103. With a team total of 374.

The Boys competed in their first tournament of the year today on a cold/windy day at Eagle Creek. @TobyI24113 led the Eagles with a score of 89 and a 7th place finish. The varsity team finished with a score of 396 and JV led by Landon Carter’s 101, finished with a score of 444

Congratulation to Scarlett Satterlee for punching her ticket to the state golf tournament! Very proud of all of our girls this season and their growth!

The Eagles finished the season at Districts shooting their best team score of the year-332. Toby Ipsen carded an 80, followed by Ben Delman-81 Taylor McMillian-85 Jordan Bozarth-86 Grey Edwards-91. Big thank you to our seniors for their commitment and hard work to the program!

The Eagles competed in the COC West Conference tournament today, finishing in 4th place with a score of 342. Toby Ipsen led the way with a 9th place finish earning All-Conference honors with an 80. Followed by Grey Edwards 85. Taylor McMillian 88. Jordan Bozarth 89. Ben Delman 94

The tournament tomorrow at Monett has been postponed. Make up date TBD.

The Eagles competed at the Bird-Dog Invitational today at Briarbrook. The team shot a 355 with Toby Ipsen leading the way with an 84. Taylor McMillian followed with an 86. Grey Edwards, 91. Jordan Bozarth, 94. Ben Delman, 99. The Eagles next competition is in Monett on Thursday.

The Eagles JV had a good showing today at the JV COC tournament with 3 players shooting their personal bests. Jayden Camerer led with an 86, followed by Gage Stovern 87 and Kai Benfield 89. Kreighton Johnson finished with a 94 and Hutch Wilson a 109. The team finished with a 356.

Today we hosted the annual Joplin JV tournament at Schifferdecker. The first JV team finished with a score of 391. Alex Whitten led the way with a 92. Followed by Kai Benfield 94, Gage Stovern 101, Jayden Camerer 104, and Kreighton Johnson 105.

Our 2nd JV team finished with a team score of 435. Max Almandinger led the way for them with a score of 103. Followed by Hutch Wilson 105, Vincent Smith 110, Brody Trento 117, and Landon Carter 125.

The JHS golf team competed at the Carthage Abbiatti Invitational. Jordan Bozarth led the team with his HS career low 82. Toby Ipsen followed the way with an 87. Grey Edwards, Ben Delman, and Taylor McMillian finished with 91, 92, 93 respectively. The team total today was 352.

The Eagles finished in 4th place today at the Horton Smith Invitational with a score of 346. Taylor McMillian and Jordan Bozarth both turned in an 86. Grey Edwards and Toby Ipsen an 87, and Ben Delman an 88.
