Jordan condemned Israeli plans and measures aimed at confiscating Palestinian properties and Islamic endowments in the Bab Al-Silsila area adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, describing them as a blatant violation of international law and the historical and legal status quo in occupied Jerusalem. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Fuad Majali reiterated Jordan’s absolute rejection and condemnation of Israeli measures aimed at evicting Palestinians from their homes and shops, seizing endowment and historical properties, and altering the demographic composition, character, and legal status of occupied Jerusalem. He warned of the consequences of such escalatory measures targeting the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the routes leading to it, stressing that they constitute a direct violation of the historical and legal status quo. Majali stressed that all Israeli measures are "null and void and have no legal effect," adding that the continued policies of the Israeli government, which entrench the occupation and violate international law and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, undermine prospects for peace based on the two-state solution. He said the two-state solution guarantees the Palestinian people’s right to establish an independent and sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 lines with East Jerusalem as its capital, calling on the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities and compel Israel, as the occupying power, to halt its dangerous escalation and illegal unilateral measures. (Petra) He warned that such actions would lead to further deterioration and escalation, stressing that fulfilling the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them establishing an independent state on their national soil, remains the only path toward achieving just and comprehensive peace that guarantees security and stability in the region.

دانت وزارة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين المخططات والإجراءات الإسرائيلية الرامية إلى مصادرة عقارات فلسطينية وأوقاف إسلامية في حي باب السلسلة الملاصق للمسجد الأقصى المبارك/الحرم القدسي الشريف؛ خرقًا صارخًا للقانون الدولي وانتهاكًا فاضحًا للوضع التاريخي والقانوني القائم في القدس المحتلة. وأكّد الناطق الرسمي باسم الوزارة السفير فؤاد المجالي رفض المملكة واستنكارها المطلق للإجراءات الإسرائيلية الرامية إلى إخلاء الفلسطينيين من منازلهم ومحالهم التجارية والاستيلاء على الممتلكات الوقفية والتاريخية وتغيير التركيبة الديموغرافية والطابع والوضع القانوني في القدس المحتلة، محذرًا من تبعات هذه الإجراءات التصعيدية التي تستهدف محيط المسجد الأقصى المبارك/الحرم القدسي الشريف والممرات المؤدية إليه، بما يشكل مساسًا مباشرًا بالوضع التاريخي والقانوني القائم. وشدّد المجالي على أنّ جميع الإجراءات الإسرائيلية باطلة ولاغية ولا أثر قانوني لها، وأنّ استمرار الحكومة الإسرائيلية في سياساتها التي تكرّس الاحتلال وتنتهك القانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، ومواصلتها إجراءاتها الأحادية اللاشرعية المدانة تقوض فرص تحقيق السلام على أساس حل الدولتين الذي يلبي حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني في إقامة دولته المستقلة وذات السيادة على خطوط الرابع من حزيران لعام ١٩٦٧ وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية. ودعا المجالي المجتمع الدولي إلى تحمّل مسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية وإلزام إسرائيل القوة القائمة بالاحتلال وقف تصعيدها الخطير وإجراءاتها الأحادية اللاشرعية واللاقانونية، مؤكدًا أنّ مثل هذه الإجراءات تدفع نحو المزيد من التدهور والتصعيد، وضرورة تلبية حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني المشروعة وفي مقدّمها إقامة دولته المستقلة على ترابه الوطني؛ سبيلًا وحيدًا لتحقيق السلام العادل والشامل الذي يضمن الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة. #الأردن

Jordan on Monday condemned the attack that occurred outside a mosque in San Diego, California. Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates spokesperson Fouad Majali reaffirmed #Jordan's solidarity with the United States and reiterated the Kingdom's rejection of all forms of violence, hatred and attacks targeting places of worship. Majali expressed condolences to the government and people of the United States over the victims of the attack.

Joint Statement The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Kingdom of Spain, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Colombia, the State of Libya, and the Republic of Maldives condemn in the strongest terms the renewed Israeli assaults against the Global Sumud Flotilla, a peaceful civilian humanitarian initiative aimed at drawing international attention to the catastrophic humanitarian suffering of the Palestinian people. The Ministers recall with grave concern the Israeli interventions against previous flotillas in international waters and condemn the continuation of hostile acts targeting civilian vessels and humanitarian activists. Such assaults, including attacks against the vessels and the arbitrary detention of activists, constitute blatant violations of international law and international humanitarian law. The Ministers express serious concern regarding the safety and security of the civilian participants of the flotilla and call for the immediate release of all detained activists, as well as for full respect for their rights and dignity. The Ministers further stress that repeated attacks against peaceful humanitarian initiatives reflect the continued disregard for international law and freedom of navigation. They call on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, ensure the protection of civilians and humanitarian missions, and take concrete steps to end impunity and ensure accountability for these violations. #Jordan
