Instead of paying £500/£600/£700/£800 a month rent, stay at home and use that money to save for a deposit. It isn’t hard to grasp and yes I get renting is better for someone in your situation & staying w parents isn’t an option for some people

And renting means you can move whenever you want where ever you like e.g I move for work which is harder to do if you own the house ?

And then your mortgage repayments are less than you pay for rent? Besides there are many reasons one would live with parents at 30, none are wrong
