Regret to share that I’m suspending my campaign for Park Board in order to prioritize my health, my full-time job, and other prior commitments. I greatly appreciate the guidance and support that I received from so many of you over the past 3 months!

@jambojeremy @DSchrantz I promise they’re not sending out a chopper to “harass neighborhoods”. But I know the noise is annoying — eventually helicopter search/chase will be replaced by a quieter, cheaper drone.

Arrowed! Ow my skin! 👊🏳️‍🌈🔥
@JordanLeick @DSchrantz if they're using it for a legitimate purpose such as locating someone, assisting with traffic enforcement, then it's fine ... i am skeptical about just taking the thing out and harassing neighborhoods. i have doubts on the daily use as having a specific purpose

@sdho @taylr Ah, sorry. misread your post. What you’re saying makes sense. Peggy certainly more likely to get DFL endorsement.

@JordanLeick @taylr I only see primary winner betting, not endorsement specifically. But yeah this is closer (currently slightly favoring Peggy) than I'd put it. I would bet on Peggy for endorsement, but certainly Angie for primary / nomination. Unless something big changes.

what is the DFL doing to make caucuses safe for vulnerable people next month? we can’t go virtual. so what’s to prevent ICE from showing up? feels like we’re gonna have very white caucuses and it’s all just gonna benefit angie craig

@taylr Is it at all likely Angie would win endorsement? I figured this is destined to be an Erin Murphy endorsement / Tim Walz primary thing.

After a ton of harassment and truly vile MAGA replies to a recently viral post + Elon’s promotion of Grok nudification of real women, I’m stepping away from this app again, perhaps for good.

@JordanLeick That is not true. There was a gang related shooting on the same day.

ICE is responsible for the *only* shooting and homicide in Minneapolis so far in 2026.

@giaodn @etonewowo Exactly. In Minneapolis we split homicides into non-negligent, negligent, and justified.

@Bobby1479644 My entire career is crime data and trying to improve overall safety. But I think the murder of a law-abiding citizen by a federal agent is far more significant and upsetting than, say, one drug dealer shooting another drug dealer over turf. ICE is making Minneapolis less safe.

@JerusalemDemsas Looks like it might be an AI video, too? I haven’t seen this angle anywhere else and the pixelation pattern seems strange

Standard for civilian: Remain absolutely calm and professional as multiple ICE agents yell at you and a gun is pointed at your face Standard for ICE agent: be unable to step one centimeter to your right and copy down someone's driver's license.

I’m a proponent of some pedestrianization efforts in the city, but I don’t think we should detour a BRT line to make it happen. BRT thru that intersection is more positive for the businesses there than pedestrianization. And n’hood residents are far from united on desired layout.
Vote Conley@voteconley

Today the City Council took a premature vote on the layout for GFS . The layout looks the exact same as what we have now & is a complete reversal from what residents of my n'hood have worked on for years. This "vision" lacks any thought on how pedestrianization builds business 🧵

@taylr The staff National Landscape Analysis is being filed/received today by council. lims.minneapolismn.gov/Download/RCAV2… I just listened to an interview with the Throne Labs CEO on the ‘What’s Your Problem’ podcast — seems like it could be a good fit for downtown.

@transriotgrrrrl @Kyrae011 I think it’s great that both Minneapolis and Austin removed key barriers to housing development. That immensely helps affordability! It’s some other big cities that are still really restrictive and far more expensive that are the truly f’d ones.

@JordanLeick @Kyrae011 these numbers are also not really what im seeing in most places? Like these brackets for what is considered "median" in your graph must be really small, considering the breakdown here

@JordanLeick @Kyrae011 Austin average rent is .7-.8% higher then Minneapolis, not $150 a month, in fact Minneapolis house rent is 12% more expensive then Austin. This also doesnt account for the lack of building hitting next year and Freys desired 3rd property tax hike which will go to renters too

@Kyrae011 Cuomo was more scandal-tinged than Frey, Fateh more scandal-tinged than Mamdani. Mamdani tried to moderate some of his past stances a bit this year, Fateh did not. But yes, housing prices here aren’t terrible, so Fateh’s housing affordability message wasn’t very effective

@StupiderTootles @Kyrae011 Seems good that supply and demand are pretty equal? If all the housing reforms hadn’t been in place (like removal of parking minimums) our strong rent control had passed, less housing would have been built and MPLS rents would be higher.
