@ThatBitchBunni Today people see AI as a generative tool that takes words and makes video, art or music. Which I can 100% understand why it angers people. But AI has been more than that for decades and the film & tech industry, and even us as consumers have been using AI in some form for years.

@ThatBitchBunni I think the problem is that people don't realize how old AI is. It has evolved over the years, but frame interpolation has always been done by a machine. There's no way for a person, regardless of their skill level, to do it. At least not for anything outside of drawn animations.

@ThatBitchBunni @feoriefrimon Unfortunately, the letters "AI" spark tension. Rightfully so. But frame interpolation has been around since the 90s, and heavily used in TV and film. It's basically when, for example, you take a video filmed in 30 FPS and export it in 60 FPS. Interpolation fills in the blanks.
