Roughyeds captain Jordan Turner has announced his retirement from rugby league with immediate effect. The 36-year-old has enjoyed a stunning career both in Super League and for the last two years with hometown team Oldham, playing a leading role in bringing the good times back to our famous club. A run in the 1895 Cup this season offers up that chance, and so too the Challenge Cup, which takes centre stage at Boundary Park on Sunday when Barrow Raiders come to town in round 3.
