Taking a break can help reduce this tolerance. Therefore if you are currently a keen coffee drinkers, try and take a break (~4 weeks) and see what effects pre exercise caffeine may have on your performance

CAFFEINE & PERFORMANCE ☕️💊🔋 Habitual caffeine use has also been assoc. with a reduced risk of Alzheimer’s, liver cancer and cirrhosis. However habitual use will lead to a tolerance and therefore reduced benefits but with the continued potential negative effect on sleep.
