No, we need more like double that number yesterday! The number of people who are super talented engineers AND super motivated in the USA is far too low. Think of this like a pro sports team: if you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be. That enables the whole TEAM to win.

🚨SILICON VALLEY'S BIGGEST LIMITATION: ENGINEERING TALENT SHORTAGE The U.S. semiconductor industry alone needs over 160,000 engineers by 2032, driven by $250B+ in new investments. Demand for AI experts has skyrocketed, with Elon calling the talent war the "craziest" ever. Meanwhile, STEM programs struggle to produce enough graduates. This shortage threatens innovation, from AI to semiconductors, slowing progress and global competitiveness. Expanding STEM education, streamlining high-skilled immigration, and reskilling workers are urgent solutions. Investing in talent is investing in the future. Source: Yahoo, Mckinsey

@amasad There is a permanent shortage of excellent engineering talent. It is the fundamental limiting factor in Silicon Valley.

The journey to finding yourself is so personal that almost no one will be able to tell you what you need to hear on purpose. If there is anything that could help, it will likely be uttered unintentionally, and only you can recognize its relevance.

Gotcha, so we're assuming that when calculating discrete logarithms over a carefully chosen group, a specific elliptic curve, there just isn't an efficient way of calculating the solution. Making it a very good trapdoor function.

reth 1.0.6 is out! This release contains some bug fixes to op-reth and RPC, as well as various performance improvements. You can also try the new (experimental) engine API implementation with `--engine.experimental`. This improves engine_forkchoiceUpdated latency by over 100x!!

In @paradigm's Ethereum client reth, the `on_new_head` method is a great way to understand how an ethereum client ensures it can apply a new chain update when a fork choice update is proposed. #L233" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/paradigmxyz/re…

There's way more benefits and reasons why OSS is great but I need to get back to coding. For some reason I felt like writing this. I hope it helps someone.

3. Feedback on code My code sucked at the beginning and it still does. Yours probably will too at first but getting feedback from more experienced engineers is so valuable. I cannot express how much I really appreciate it because its why I'm growing.
