We use them fairly regularly all around the province including the one @UHN with varying degrees of success of access. The one @UHN is responsive! I'm curious more about this integrative approach that you have highlighted.

@LizLeeNP @NaziaSelzner @TrilliumGift @laur_n_cee There are multiple walk-in addiction medicine clinics across Toronto (including a great one at UHN!) that serve as a low barrier starting point for patients to connect with treatment. Patients can be seen within 1-2 days with regular follow up. metaphi.ca/raam-clinics/

@NaziaSelzner @TrilliumGift @JoseeLynch @laur_n_cee That's great! You're highlighting those supported pre-tx when accepted through the ALD protocol. Then there is the "pre-pre-tx" group when deemed high risk for relapse that is cared for by gen hep. Interested in how we can bridge support for this group to optimize management.

“Liver transplant does not cure alcohol use disorder “. Providing addiction treatment embedded within transplant programs is key to improved outcomes, rather than excluding this patient population from a life saving treatment.
