Nobody says it, but the founders telling you to quit already had a runway you don't. Survivorship bias wears a hoodie now. I learned this the expensive way. Quit my first business too early, ran it to twenty dollars, moved back home. So this time I build the agency in two windows. 6 to 8:30am before the day job, then the home office until 11pm. The constraint is the moat. Ninety minutes forces a brutal filter. If it won't compound, it doesn't earn a seat at the desk. Quitting early doesn't buy you focus. It buys you panic. And panic chases whatever pays this week, not what pays next year. Build the 90 minutes before work, or the hours after? Tell me which shift is actually yours.

hello mutuals! haven’t seen you all in a minute, great to see familiar faces again before this change I was mostly poasting for strangers. now it feels like a genuine social network, and paradoxically I feel more exposed. tweets for the masses were easier than tweets for friends

@shivst3r Building a business is only half the job, building a life worth living alongside it is the other half.

Nobody tells you that freedom comes with a price. Everyone romanticises working for yourself from a laptop, with no boss and no set office hours. What they forget is how quiet it can get. There’s been a lot of times where I'd go days barely speaking to anyone properly. You can be up big and still feel weirdly empty because there's nobody around to share any of it with. I've learnt that freedom means nothing if you isolate yourself to get it. Build yourself an actual life around the work. This means meeting friends, having a routine, and reasons to leave the house. Protect that side of things as hard as you protect your bag, because one grows back much more easily than the other.

the problem of having only 1 social media lead this person cannot be great at everything - design - copy writing - creative campaigns / growth initiatives - motion design - clipping - reply guy - write articles / reports - live streams - strategiest you need multi-talent team that works together to bring great stuff to market and get good results
