@stalmico @jameygannon Because process leads with a reputable outcome, and it shows that you have a system to achieve that outcome

@JosephGrillo But I'm also weeks behind publicly launching Neuma because I'm so focused and stoked about Stripe work right now.

One thing I've loved about building ideas and this new era: how much it helps me process what I'm learning and push my learning even further. Trying to write down and wrap my head around LLM as a designer.

@krispuckett you have a full time job and just CRANK out your own personal projects. How many robots do you employ? 10? 50? Are you a wizard?

Working on figuring out why I design the way I do. Here are the principles that drive my work as a designer. Rugged = respect for how they'll actually use it. Warm = respect for how they feel. Direct = respect for their time. Unhurried = respect for getting it right.

I don't care that I'm reposting this hours after the OG. The legend himself @neversitdull created the epic background sound for this teaser as a surprise. Sound on and I think the effect is best when you share it with others for like a surround sound experience.

@_joelmllr I can’t stress this enough - it’s Claude code dumbed down in a wrapper. It’s like Canva in comparison to sketch or Figma or photoshop.

Okay real talk: Claude code is best because you focus on getting the functionality perfect before you jump into the design details. One issue I have with claude design is that it focuses on both aesthetics and functionality - which for me, splits my focus between 2 tasks.

@Ahmedcreatives Yes, but dude look at how many people on X and in the design community instantly copy whatever they see others doing. Shaders and unicode spinners are a great example.

designers are dead. figma is dead. ai ate your job. design is over. bruuuuuuh, every two weeks, same shitposts. my block button has never been busier. meanwhile: for the first time in 12 years the tools actually keep up with my thinking. iterate in minutes, explore 10 directions where before you had energy for two, create design tool by yourself. the golden era of design isn’t coming. it started. express your vision and create something new, bro (maybe social media content is dead? asking for the guys writing “design is dead” every two weeks lol)

can someone explain to me why everyone thinks an ai lab made up entirely of engineers is going to build a better design product than a company who has lived and breathed the needs of designers for a decade

Introducing Claude Design by Anthropic Labs: make prototypes, slides, and one-pagers by talking to Claude. Powered by Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable vision model. Available in research preview on the Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, rolling out throughout the day.

About to give this a proper go. Since building Epilogue entirely through Claude code, I’m fascinated with how this will work.

@ridd_design I seriously think that its great for non-designers, and average at best for designers. It doesn't really do much more than claude code when it comes to ideation etc... It just feels like computer and code mashed together. I don't feel like I am the intended audience.

@chalaska @claudeai Dude I love this - thinking of doing something similar so I can have consistent components across all my personal tools. Hopeing each tool has maybe 10-20% custom components for whatever the esoteric use-case might be.
