@passport_soccer If by miracle Promise David is back and fit in time, him over Larin. Only other change I’d do is Laryea over Johnston. He’s been Canada’s best player over this past year for the national team. He showed at the WC that he’s a gamer.

@joeyferg To me, it more about the Flames/Rangers not getting to 78 points, than the Leafs. Leafs were the worst team in the nhl after the break, lost 7 in a row to end it. No one thought they would do that. Rangers had games down the stretch that they had leads/ties and blew it in the 3rd

Leafs need to lose out final 2 games but then r guaranteed 5th last Calgary and Rangers can still pass Toronto as well if they do the following NYR collect 3/4 possible points CGY collect 5/6 possible points If not we will be 5th last with near 50/50 chance at staying top 5

I was at Toronto Stadium today. The pitch upgrades are outstanding. Most other changes were necessary to bring the facility up to standard. North Stand is not ready yet. The biggest issue is the overwhelming feeling of temporary: seats, stands, hospitality. Missed opportunity.

@Hey_ImDorion @nylanderthews Stolarz and Woll were two of the best 15 goalies in the NHL last season. You could use the same thought process. Don’t trade good goalies after one bad season. Especially Stolarz, who’s been 917 save percentage or better in 5 of the past 6 seasons. I think they rate Artur higher

@JosephMonticchi @nylanderthews It most definitely is not the move. You do not trade a young cost controlled goalie with decent upside due to an awful contract elsewhere. That is bad asset management.

Mirtle on the Leaf Report says if the Leafs wanted to trade Stolarz, they wouldn’t be able to get anything back, it'd just be moving the contract. He suggests carrying three goalies next year instead
Even if they moved Woll, the return wouldn’t be a top pair D or impact F

@GerryBateman1 @LeafsLose1967 @nylanderthews There’s so many teams in the need of goaltending that I’m sure someone (cough Edmonton) will give up a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him. He’s unproven, so it’s either now or never to trade him. Plus the leafs like Arthur a bit more as the future goalie.

@Hoidy @CelticAnalytico The one thing he lacks is pace.He’s a smart player. I personally think his best position is in the midfield (don’t know if you guys play with 3 or 4 in the middle) with some fast with him. He’s a good player. I don’t think RB is his best position. Gets exposed with pace out there

@daniel47658569 @NorwichPure I hope so, he doesn’t look particularly physically strong, that’s my only concern. His use of the ball looks very good overall and I think he will suit the way Norwich play now.

Can’t claim to have ever heard of him but his basic stats look good. 16 G/A in all comps in 2025 is a strong return.

Plus, he’s going to be out until close to the March window.Who knows how long it will be until he’s back to being his best.Obviously it’s fluid with form, but for me, when Ritchie is playing like this, he’s such a difference
