Henderson County baseball coach Adam Hines is retiring. He just led the Colonels to its first KHSAA state tournament semifinals appearance in 11 years earlier this month. Was also the head coach for Owensboro Catholic, as well as an assistant coach at Union College.

High school baseball, 3rd Region title game: Final — Apollo 5, Muhlenberg County 3. Eagles punch their ticket to the state tourney.

Muhlenberg County beats Hancock County 10-2 to advance to the championship game of 3rd Region Baseball Tournament.

Brooke Hamilton threw a perfect game w/ 10 strikeouts for Catholic and also hit a HR.
