C H R I S T It's all about Him
This is most important writing I will likely ever post. I tried twice before but it was too messy. Its a long read but I believe worthy. Lord Bless.
Can we trust the Bible?
Can we KNOW it is - what it says it is - in 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. There is not any real wiggle room here. But is it ACTUALLY true? And I am not talking about - your belief or your faith or your religion religion. I'm talking overwhelming proof.
I am talking BRUTALITY. Scientifically examined
IF aaaaa THEN bbbb scientific BRUTALITY.
IF - God inspired the scriptures THEN - God must prove it - IN the same scriptures.
IF - God is all knowing THEN - He must know trolls that would shit all over it.
IF - God knew the trolls would come THEN - He must make it troll proof. This means all the attacks must not damage or disprove the scripture as it is designed.

THEN - Tell me how does both the basic message of CHRIST 1 Cor 15: 3-4 Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures - survives in :
Every version - - Every Transcription - - Every Translation - - Every Church? How is this possible if even half of what the trolls say is true?
The trolls cry - So many translations - they took books out - they added books in - the Catholics have more books - and on and on and on until one day you realize that standing anywhere near their mountain of troll shit is really really . . . stupid.
The Message of CHRIST is completely intact and the trolls ironically serve as PROOF it is true. This leads to another BRUTALITY, this time Either / Or.
EITHER - A bunch of mostly terrible guys over millennia without even electricity even for lights - wrote all this in harmony as part of their depravities (troll view).
OR It is what it says it is - "by inspiration of God" is factually (not faith) TRUE.
But there is more. CHRIST and PROPHECY
There is a GIANT problem in the world and church today in that they know the word - CHRIST - but poorly understand it beyond saying Jesus died on the cross for our sins. This leads us to Prophecy. Most believe that prophecy is predicting exact future details. This is sometimes true. But prophecy is the entire fabric of scripture that reveals CHRIST.
Yes Jesus is The CHRIST/Messiah -one and only -but CHRIST is more than just saying Jesus.
CHRIST is God's revelation of God's mind and heart FOR God towards Man and Earth, His creation. Many of the key points we know but we skim over them to fast to appreciate as we rush to the next verse when we read or preach. A bit more attention is called for.
Prophecy does something no other writing does. Actual prophecy will usually have two -maybe even more threads to the prophecy being told and BOTH TRUE at the same time. God also often does other things in pairs to reinforce the principle. Moses and Joshua bringing Israel to the land. Elijah Elisha . John the Baptist and Jesus. Revelation - 2 witnesses. These are the easy ones. Mathew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. The actual context is talking to someone who has trespassed against you to take 1 or 2 more witnesses. But look how it is written -" that EVERY WORD may be established." So this is true in both - the event spoken of - someone trespasses against you (1) but also as a solid principle to be use routinely (2). Both true. Single sources are much less reliable. Lets look a bit closer.
Moses gave very detailed instructions for the making of the Tabernacle and all the things thereof and the garments of the High Priest. Lets look at the actual fabric of the Tabernacle and the High Priests garments as the beautifully illustrated for us the fabric of prophecy and point to CHRIST
Exodus 36:8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
Exodus 38:18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.
Exodus 39:1-2 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses. And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
So - here we have the Tabernacle symbolizing The Kingdom of Heaven and the High Priest representing man (Adam), and these two being brought together. There are so many links here but to simplify a little I want to focus on just the colors Blue, Scarlet and Purple.
Waters are often green but the sky is always blue even above the clouds on those days.
Blue is the Heavens
Scarlet is the blood of CHRIST and all it entails.
Purple is royally, The Eternal man ascended to the right hand of God, our great High Priest.
Yes there are silver and gold - but we are waiting for those parts as these are also in timeline order. Imagine that. As any fabric has more than one thread, lets look at two threads for the Blue, Scarlet and Purple.
The Blue threads.
Math 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;
I think the church undervalues The Kingdom of God and the son of God coming down to be with us on EARTH. This alone is a monumental event.
Mathew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. GOD WITH US!!!!!! God's plan shown in prophecy is to bring the Kingdom of Heaven into what we refer to as the physical world - the universe and he chose to do that ON EARTH. This is by Him and for Him.
This is what the Tabernacle is telling us. The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. And there is more.
Mark 14:21 and Mathew 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him. -The Son of man.-
Jesus came as an actual real flesh and bones man (adam) 100% as ONE OF US. This thread is the individual and the High Priest pictures this in the Tabernacle. There's more.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over . . . . . We think that's for us and it is, but not first. This is for HIM so he can come and be ONE OF US. Without the coming of the Son of man (adam) this would be mostly useless to us. Gods plan to come into the world is visible way back in Genesis and is true twice - first for Him and second for us (more for us later). Both true at the same time. The fabric of prophecy.
Mathew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. So - The Son of MAN in HEAVEN .
And there is more.
Mark 1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God; The title Son of GOD tells us he fully represents the KINGDOM of GOD.
So in the blue threads we see both the Kingdom in the Son of God and the individual - Son of man (Adam) both true at the same time.
Now lets look at the Scarlet threads.
Phil: 2-8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Now don't get upset when I say this is the second most important event of all time (you will see shortly). If you are a child of God this is the one thing you are sure of - Christ died for our sins. In that sense the scarlet threads are the most known and easiest for the church. I would like to see both threads in this one verse.
"and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death" . . . This part of the verse is the son of man. Just look at how well it is worded - being found in fashion - - This is something very different and very special. God becoming a real man - like you and me - CHRIST.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die,. . . To fully be a man he had to die an did so. But of course there is more.
. . . even the death of the cross (prophecy)
Heb 9:27-28 once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; . . . Or The lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world - John the Baptist.
This is the Kingdom of Heaven thread to satisfy God for our sins. Fully becoming a MAN (Adam) and dying the first thread and being the lamb of God the Kingdom thread the second thread. You who know the Lord likely have many versus also coming to mind now. Look for the different threads. But of course - there is more.
The Purple threads.
Remember just above I said "Now don't get upset when I say this is the second most important event of all time (you will see shortly)." then talked about the death of Jesus the CHRIST on the cross
Now - take your foot off the gas - hit the brake - put it in park - turn it off and get out of the car. You wouldn't speed through Death Valley would you? Nope. You get out and go look and stand in awe and know the pictures you are taking ain't gonna cut it but you take them anyway. This is BIGGER. This is what it is all about - CHRIST -.
John 20 : 1-16 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.
6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
The problem with reading this is we go too fast - next verse - next verse - next verse - just reading through it. That's why I had you get out of the car. Lets look.
Because of the Sabbath being right on top of them the burial of Jesus was a bit hurried. The women at least were minded to go after and do thing more according to customary burial tradition.
v1 early, when it is yet dark, . . This is the first visit to the tomb and Mary finds it empty. She runs back and tells the disciples "They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him." Two disciples (there is the two witness thing again) race to the tomb and find "the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself." (There is the two witnesses again) They believe what Mary told them that He had been taken and return home. Mary returns to the tomb.
Pause here. Everyone of us have had those times in our lives when something so shocking happened that - I DON'T BELIEVE IT - - IT CAN'T BE - - - NO WAY!! We are in emotional and perhaps physical shock. You take 5 steps away and turnaround thinking maybe it will be normal. But it never is. This is the new normal. But we just can't soak it up.
They all saw Jesus put in the tomb. They all saw the stone rolled against the opening many probably took part. They couldn't actually believe He was dead. They thought He was going to set up the kingdom and now he is gone (dead). And to top it off the place is now guarded. How would you feel? Now on top of that Mary goes and find the sealed and guarded tomb -EMPTY! GONE GONE - - Dead AND Disappeared. She runs and tells the disciples and they race to the tomb and find the tomb empty and grave clothes neatly in two places. (two again)
BOOOOM Their whole world just exploded. Gone and Gone - v8 and he saw and believed- as Mary said he was taken - all hope vanished because v9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
Mary comes back - just like you when you walk away 5 steps and hope everything will be normal when you look again. She looks in the tomb and sees - two angels. They say " Woman, why weepest thou? She is weeping. She is crushed. Her world has ended. It seems they don't say anything else and she turns away and see's the 'gardener' in the corner of her eye. He says "Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?" She saith unto them, (angel also) Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
Now if you brought camping gear in the trunk you should go get it and set it up and plan on staying a while. We're here.
v16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
1 Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
1Cor 15: 17-19 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable
This is the single biggest event - EVER.
Yes this proves all that Jesus taught and did - defeating death and sin - and all of you who know CHRIST are aware. This is the Kingdom Thread. But of course I want to look at - the other thread.
John 20:16 again - "Mary" Look - closely. What do you see? Look all the way down to the ground. Look. See it? See it?

is all bout GOD'S plan to make ETERNAL MEN (Adams) on Earth by bringing dying (sinful) men to CHRIST and making them ETERNAL through His work on the Cross and His Resurrection and Grace and Love to us and bringing us into the Kingdom of GOD.
HE will soon bring the Kingdom here to Earth (revelation) and later make New Heavens and a New Earth and bring us there. Reading between the lines just a bit it appears we will be part of spreading HIS Kingdom throughout what we call - the whole universe.

Kidding aside - this is the best view in the universe. Stay a while. Soak it up.
And of course there is more.
Acts 1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
A real flesh and bone ADAM ETERNAL has risen into heaven and is seated at the right hand of power. Just like Moses who came the firs time and was rejected by his own people - so too Jesus. Just like Mose came a second time (more twos) so too will Our Lord Jesus return in power and great glory a second time.
So we have a purple thread of a dying man (Adam) becoming and ETERNAL ADAM. And we have another purple thread of an Eternal Adam - Jesus - The CHRIST - The only begotten Son of God ascended into Heaven and preparing the Kingdom of GOD to come

Most of you know this one - - - Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. SEE IT?? " thy Kingdom come" "THY KINGDOM COME" Here right HERE on EARTH!
Not for the Jews

For HIM and with HIM Its all about HIM - THE CHRIST.

Many of you may not get the colors and the threads and much of the detail I have written here. That's perfectly fine - really. What you need to know is this - Its all about HIM.
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. It really is just that easy.
The Son of God became a man to be with us and make Eternal Men with HIM and for HIM.
THE CHRIST - GOD'S plan from the beginning to make Eternal men on the Earth and bring them into HIS Kingdom through His only begotten Son Jesus because only HE has eternal life to give.
Prophecy is not just an event here or there but the entire fabric of scripture - showing us . . .
THE CHRIST - - Its all about Him
