The NFL has given ESPN a really great schedule. Good to see the NFL give Buck and Aikman a packed action schedule ahead of ESPN’s first Super Bowl. TNF on prime definitely has better matchups than last year. I believe SNF on NBC may have been given the short end of the stick.

What a fantastic start to the month of May it has been for the Mets. 3-1 so far. Today’s game against Denver is scheduled for 9:20 PM with Peralta on the bump. It is currently snowing in Denver however it will stop at 12 PM. Going to be a very cold night.

David Sterns has announced that the Mets will not part ways with Carlos Mendoza anytime soon. Instead, Mendoza will be given the chance to execute a dramatic turnaround with 131 games remaining. Mets Vs Angels starting tonight. Let’s get this ship rolling.

Mets win for the first time in 12 days!! Vientos made up for his base running mistake by giving the Mets a 3-2 lead in the 8th thanks to a bloop single. However Lindor left the game with calf tightness. He will get an MRI today.

Juan Soto in the Mets lineup tonight batting second and he will be DH. Hopefully this can get the Mets going and win tonight. Clay Holmes on the mound. 7:10 ET at Citi Field

After an 0-6 road trip and an 11 game loosing streak, the Mets are headed back home right now. They are scheduled to push back from the gate right now and arrive in LGA at 8:41 PM. Gate is TBA.

Mets lose 2-1 last night in a game that they would really like to have back. The only Mets run came off a Lindor lead off homer, then Yamamoto retired the next 20 Mets in a row. Crucial for the Mets to salvage the series and take game 3 on ESPN. Joe Buck, Ron Darling on the call.

Mets are currently en-route to Hollywood Burbank airport ahead of their 3 game series vs the dodgers. They took off from JFK at gate B23, terminal 4, concourse B at 7:22 PM EDT which was 1hr and 30 mins late. They are expected to arrive at 10:35 PM PDT. Gate not announced yet.

Very rough week for the Mets. Losers of their last 5 games. Simply put the bullpen, starting rotation, and lineup are all very inconsistent. The Mets are going to need to find a way to put these puzzle pieces together. Tommy Pham has been called up ahead of the Dodgers Series.

Jeff McNeil to be back at Citi Field this week. This time on the visitors side. Mets open up a 3 game series against the A’s. A’s star Brent Rooker is now day to day with Flank Discomfort. Holmes to pitch game 1. Senga to pitch game 2. Peralta to pitch game 3.

@ronnietawil1 Devin Williams still has a 0 ERA however. This was also Weaver’s first shaky pitching of the year. All about how you rebound.

Mclean with an exceptional performance once again until he departed in the 7th inning after getting into some trouble in a 1-0 Mets game. Luke Weaver gave up a costly double and a triple to blow this game over for the DBacks. Final: 7-1 DBacks. Mets play A’s starting tomorrow.

Tyrone Taylor will be switching his number from #15 to #28 as the Mets will retire Carlos Beltron’s number #15. This will be the Mets 11th number retirement. I believe there won’t be another retirement for a while. Do you think the Mets should retire someone else’s number soon.

Tomorrow and Wednesday’s games against the D-Backs have been moved to 4:10PM. This is due to cold and windy conditions building up in NY. In other news, Juan Soto got placed on the IL. Expected to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks.

@RonnieGindi 93 wins and an NL EAST title would be a great regular season. Of course the playoffs is a whole new game. That would put us in a great spot for a World Series championship.
