@Felixseasiders @JoshMayhew9 lead the line superbly again today. Am I correct in saying that his last 3 starts we have scored 12-1 (A to Maldon 4-1, H to Mildenhall 4-0 and H to Haringey 4-0)? Delighted he picked up a couple himself today although Charlie might dispute the one on the line 😁)

FT - @Felixseasiders 4 @HaringeyBoroFC 0 Felixstowe & Walton United won through to the first round proper of the Isuzu FA Trophy for only the third time with a thoroughly deserved home victory. The Seasiders started brightly and could have been two goals up already when Josh Mayhew opened the scoring in the 8th minute, running on to a through ball before bursting into the area and finding the net with a cool finish in front of the advancing keeper. The number nine made it two on the half hour mark, converting on the goal line to make certain of a goal after Charlie Warren had fired goal bound from the right after beating his men in the box. Cameron Forde-Brown made it three five minutes later with a fantastic finish, he took the ball round three defenders before unleashing his effort into the far inside of the net. Haringey had their chances on the break and perhaps could have got back in the game but most of the chances were still falling to Felixstowe with Willie Clemons seeing his volley go an inch over and Ollie Brown and Mayhew making the keeper work. The second half got off to the perfect start, a short corner on 53 minutes found Tom Warren whose shot fell to Forde-Brown on 20 yards and he scored with a thunderbolt through a crowded area that went high into the net. A few minutes later it should have been five, and a hat-trick for the on-loan Forde-Brown, but he saw his penalty saved. Haringey had two or three decent chances but could not stop a Seasiders side who on another day could have scored a few more, Charlie Warren’s overhead kick and Tom Warren the best of the opportunities on a sizzling afternoon at the seaside.
