5th Region POY & Kentucky Mr. Basketball Candidate Jaylin Craine @craine_jaylin put together a strong season for Caverna, leading the Colonels to a 24-8 record. The crafty 5’11” point guard averaged 16.6 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists per game, while shooting 49.6% from the field and 39.7% from beyond the arc. Craine is still uncommitted but his recruitment continues to build with offers from EKU, Jacksonville State, Union, Midland, Trinity Valley, East Mississippi, Coastal Georgia, Georgetown, and Campbellsville. Interest is also coming in from Gulf Coast State, Vincennes, Big Sky schools, Mountain West programs, and other JUCO programs. Kentucky Mr. Basketball @mr_misskybball will be announced March 22nd. Cost Centre an NCAA bid in 2019. Our SOS was strong I was told by the very top people. We were 21-4 and a Pool C. Beat the 8 seed on our Home Court. They were 4-21. Had to play the game. Tanked our SOS. We lost in the finals on a last second shot. 23-5 and left out.
