Just TODAY we have: * an expose revealing our HHS Sec "still uses psychedelics, and even smoked dimethyltryptamine." * a report that the Dept FBI Director wasn't given a background check * a report that Michael Flynn may get a $50m settlement??? * The president sic-ing the DOJ—overtly—on Democrats tied to a sex predator that he himself is tied to * The Attorney General happily agreeing to his request * A report that the DHS sec sent millions in ad contracts to a firm tied to her * A congressman alleging that Trump's wanna-be assassin may have been "groomed"

On a single Saturday in September: --Trump instructed his AG to go after specific political enemies. --We learned that his DOJ ended an investigation into his border czar, who was caught on camera taking a $50k cash bribe. --His Pentagon top brass threatened to expel journalists who report info not cleared by them. --His WH spoke to a shady deal that will see TikTok in the hands of a consortium of GOP mega-donors. --Trump threatened "bad things" if we don't re-take Bagram AFB. --His most senior counterterrorism official is in a Twitter spat with Laura Loomer. None of this is normal. All of it is so dangerous and corrosive to our democracy.

The decision has been made to suspend my husband's, Robert Kennedy Jr.'s, presidency and I'd like to extend a sincere, deeply heartfelt thank you to every person who has worked so tirelessly and lovingly on his campaign. They have accomplished feats that were said to be impossible. They have gathered over a million signatures, more than any candidate in history, and have achieved ballot access across the country despite the roadblocks and lawsuits that have been brought against them for the sole purpose of keeping Bobby off of the ballots so no one would even have the opportunity to vote for him. I deeply respect the decision Bobby made to run on the principle of unity. Over the last year and a half, I have met some extraordinary people from all parties — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. It's been my experience that the vast majority of all parties are truly good people who want the best for our country and for each other. It has been an eye-opening, transformative, and endearing journey.

THE BUSINESS RECORDS DOUBLE STANDARD In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s campaign was fined $8,000 for violating federal campaign finance laws. Why? Her team falsely reported the funding of the Steele Dossier as “legal services” and “legal and compliance consulting.” Actually this “opposition research” was an attempt to smear her opponent with false and salacious allegations. Obviously, it was also intended to influence the 2016 election. Moreover, Hillary’s campaign was headquartered in New York State (out of Brooklyn, NY), which would make it fall under the jurisdiction of New York Penal Law §175.10, the state law which makes it a felony to falsify business records with the intent to conceal the commission of a crime. What is the key distinction between Hillary’s campaign violation versus recent news? With Hillary’s violation, there wasn’t a Manhattan prosecutor politically motivated to bring an unprecedented case to trial.

@otis Fargo is objectively very good. It just feels a bit cold and there are pieces this season that are just too over-the-top for me. Maybe it finishes in such a way that I have to reconsider, but I don’t see it vaulting into top 8.
