@SenToddYoung My apologies to everyone—and thank you for correcting me. I phrased that poorly, given the war powers act has to do with undeclared war. The heart of my point remains, though: I’m not interested in prolonged, undeclared conflict that doesn’t have congressional support.

@SenToddYoung For what the opinion of one Indiana resident is worth, I’m glad to have seen your name in the news today. Well done. War declarations belong in the hands of Congress. It’s a matter beyond partisanship, & I appreciate republicans willing to break with their party when necessary.
