You're right, Amy. I will add the footnote I always add when commenting on the film: Gene Kranz was an authentic hero on Apollo 13 and his role is accurately portrayed. What the film didn't cover was that Gene's White Team left Mission Control an hour after the accident, and Glynn Lunney and his Black Team took over at a time when no one yet knew what had happened nor that the CSM had to be completely shut down. What Lunney did over the next 8 hours--successfully shut down the CSM and power up the LM and transfer the crew, using procedures that had to be invented on the fly--was, in the words years later of an astronaut who was in Mission Control, the most outstanding sustained leadership under pressure that he ever saw. I loved the film. I only wish more people knew that Mission Control had two legendary heroes that night: Gene Kranz and Glynn Lunney.

If it's a curveball, the red spot you see on the ball will be rotating clockwise - if it's a changeup, counterclockwise." They all nodded and thanked him for the tip.
