@BillyMcgon @davYidc89 Of course they are, but that’s not what you’re implying, he quite clearly sacked off the league, there’s no difference finishing 10th vs 17th, neither gets your Europe, winning a trophy (for the first time in 17 years) did. He deserved the benefit of the doubt in my opinion.

@StefanJPB @samuelgiddings4 I understand there can be competition rules but surely the laws of the game is universal? That isn’t the case in any other sport where the laws of the game differ depending on the tournament

@JoshTrayte @samuelgiddings4 Yeah, that's just dumb. But it's a different competition, so I guess different laws can be implied. Which is just silly. But I presume it would be nearly impossible for all the federations to come together across the world and make the rules as one.

@JoshTrayte @samuelgiddings4 That comes from the law makers, rather than the referees though. They should just make the laws more black and white and then there is no room for interpretation. Would eliminate a lot of the poor decisions we see.

@StefanJPB @samuelgiddings4 True, I suppose the hard part of refereeing is the subjective nature of football, in other sports it’s very black and white, but they seem to be getting more wrong than right which is a big problem

@JoshTrayte @samuelgiddings4 It's just every week there is something about poor refereeing. They are literally suppose to be invisible. Just there to implement the rules and that's it. Yet, they are more highlighted and get more coverage than the players!!
