In my opinion Anze Kopitar was the better player in their primes… but Patrice Bergeron is the greater player all time

@FreeFabianLysel @MikeBartner Part of what makes Kopitar better is his durability and always being available in the playoffs, it’s contest Kopi for sure

@MikeBartner Bergeron easily has 100 PTS if he plays 80 games in 2019. If he isn’t plagued by injuries, I’d say he’d be above Koptiar offensively. He also could have been more offensive minded if he didn’t have to cover for Marchand cherry-picking on the opposing blue line so often.

I don't disagree with Barkov winning the Selke, but when I see the likes of wingers Jarvis and Hagel receiving more votes than a first-line center who was +19 on a team with a -20 goal differential, it tells me it's a trophy that should be voted on by the players. Media members aren't paying much attention to who is playing well away from the puck, and certainly not for all other 31 teams aside from the one they cover. Leave it up to the players, just like the Ted Lindsay Award. They know who the best defensive forwards are, so let them vote on it.

@YShemaria We needed a goalie more than we needed Dubois. Now we got the goalie for Dubois and were able to afford the other pieces we needed cuz Blake moved PL without any cap retention. That's a pretty nice recovery. #GoKingsGo

The reason why some of us were so upset re: the Vilardi trade is you could see we lost the PP weapon we now have again in Kuzy. You knew if this team could ever get back that top PP unit they had w/Gabe while maintaining the D structure, we'd be elite. Well, here we are! #GoKingsGo
