Newly acquired Casey Wilson makes his NLL debut tonight in his home province. It’s a big game for him to step into as the Thunderbirds are in a battle for the final playoff spot against the an excellent Vancouver squad.

Ryan Lanchbury led the way for Rochester with two goals and five points. Connor Fields had a goal and five assists. Ryan Smith and Thomas McConvey both had two goals and two assists.

HFX wins it 15-10. Jake Withers had a monster game with two goals, four assists, 11 loose balls and 18 face-off wins, four of them leading to goals. Jason Knox and Clarke Petterson both had hat tricks. Trevor Smyth, in his first game back from injury, scored the empty net goal.

A massive game here tonight in Halifax as the Thunderbirds (6-9) take on the Rochester Knighthawks (6-8). Both teams are chasing the 7-8 Las Vegas Desert Dogs for the final playoff spot. The consequences for this game will be significant for the playoff race.

This loss really hurts Halifax’s playoff chances. Their record is now 5-9 with four games left. They will have to win out to get to nine wins and hope that’s good enough. Their next four games are against Philadelphia, Rochester, Vancouver and Ottawa.

Jordan McIntosh scored with 17.6 seconds left to win the game for Georgia. Great job for Halifax to battle back from an incredibly deep hole, but they just couldn’t do it. Keogh and Petterson scored four goals and Robinson scored three.

Halifax has tied the game at 16. They made a 10 goal comeback from early in the third quarter. What a wild game in Georgia.

After being down as much as 14-4, Halifax has out scored Georgia 8-1 in the fourth quarter and are down 16-14 with two minutes left. Wow.

That was a very rough first half for the Thunderbirds down 11-4. They allowed Georgia to find lots of open space and the Swarm converted on most of their chances. Halifax switched goalies twice. Not a good start when Halifax is fighting to stay in the playoff race.

@LacrosseWeTrust Josh Dawick wins it for Toronto with his hat trick goal. He had the ball on the outside and fired it for the winner. Other big performers for Toronto include Hiltz with a hat trick, Rogers with the last two goals in regulation for Toronto and Matthews with 4 points.

The Halifax Thunderbirds (5-7) look to create a three game winning streak tonight as they host the Toronto Rock (7-5). Every game from here on out is going to be huge for Halifax as they chase the final playoff spot with six games left to go…

The results of the Halifax Thunderbirds' last 6 games of the 2025-26 NLL Season could have a significant impact on how much the team decides to shake things up during the off-season. “We do have some free agents and guys who we are working with right now to get them signed before free agency, guys who we want to continue to build around," Halifax Thunderbirds Head Coach Mike Accursi said. "I think there’ll be changes, and I think that’s inevitable. We have [Alex] Marinier coming in next year and Casey [Wilson] coming in at some point this year, and we’ve got another 1st round pick in this year’s draft, as well.”

Tyson Bell on being traded from the Halifax Thunderbirds to the Las Vegas Desert Dogs at the trade deadline: "I was a little bit torn finding out the news, but I knew that there was a possibility, knowing that I was a UFA at the end of this season.
