@GovKathyHochul That’s pretty much false. We have to start seeing what’s best for actual working class New Yorkers, not the style of living of the wealthy a priority. On top something has to be done about the transit system and oversight needs to be put in place to see where the money goes.

@The7Line This is an issue resulting from the free shipping / return culture created by Amazon. Before Amazon all stores would charge for shipping and returns. Now people think they are owed something for their own mistakes and then go the route of comitting fraud on top.

Pretty wild that some people are siding with the buyer here. A lot are just trolling at this point, but whatever. Just to clarify though.... We don't charge $62.50 for a single hat. This cap was $40. We also don't determine those prices. We're a licensed business with the league and merch is expensive these days. Considering we don't mass produce as much merch as other brands, we're very comparably priced to others that pay royalties. We could charge less, but we'd then be out of business giving everything away at a discount. The additional charge was for shipping, then we were charged an extra $15 for the Chargeback Fee. OF COURSE we could have just paid to send this guy a return label, but that's not the point, and not our policy. Out of principle we didn't. He bought a hat, didn't like it (which is totally fine, not everyone likes a side patch of course), and then didn't want to send it back. So he disputed the charge, basically fraud at this point, and got his money back. Scummy move. Of course we'll survive, but just felt like sharing. 99.99999% of our customers are excellent, but on occasion sometimes people pull stuff like this. Nature of doing business unfortunately.

Please don't do this. Especially to a small business. This fan purchased a hat and didn't like that it came with a logo on the side (even though the listing showed photos of the logo on the side). Didn't want to return the cap unless we paid for the shipping (we don't pay for shipping back to us unless the order is damaged or we accidentally sent you the wrong goods). He then disputed the charge with his bank and got a free hat out of the deal. Now we're out $62.50 AND the product. Awesome.
