After avoiding the media for neigh on her whole campaign, Kamala Harris is … still largely avoiding the media. The VP is set for a series of interviews that likely won't press her on tough issues, even as voters want more specifics.

@TLynn0248 @JoshuaReilly99 @johnpavlovitz What a doofus. What an abysmally uninformed doofus. 🤣
Do YOU know that REAL MONEY motivates the odds Polymarket computes, making them MORE accurate than biased pollsters?

"I can't put up a Kamala yard sign because I'm afraid of what my Trump-supporting neighbors will do."
I hear this multiple times every day, and while I understand not feeling safe and not wanting to create conflict with neighbors, it really makes me angry.
Since when do we stand for our convictions only when it's easy?
Why are we so reluctant to feel discomfort when it's a matter of the things we care most about?
How have we let a group of people make us afraid?
Maybe if more decent people had the courage to be who they are unapologetically and refused to hide in order to avoid turbulence, we'd never have gone through the hell of the past decade, and we wouldn't be facing this nightmare again.
I'd never ask anyone to put themselves in harm's way, but I also know that the silence of good people puts other people in harm's way, usually the most already vulnerable, and I'm not willing to live that way.
We put our signs up and we're dealing with the awkward silences or avoided gazes and the concerns about vandalism because the thing we care about are worth it.
There are 30 days until the most important Tuesday of our lives.
Maybe it's time to step out of the shadows and stand in the light and declare who we are, what we believe in, and what we will not abide.
(And if you need extra signs, let me know.;)

People outside of North Carolina who haven’t been paying close attention have no idea the scale of the disaster and loss and destruction in the Western part of our state. It should be a once-in-a-lifetime catastrophe that may become commonplace because of our mistreatment of this beautiful planet.
Compounding all of this suffering and death, is that one of our Presidential tickets and their party are willfully lying in order to sow division and cultivate anger that they believe will benefit them politically. What may be worse, many will believe them, simply because they want to, because they have been conditioned to see the enemy in their neighbors.
I’m grieving how much we in NC have lost because of this natural disaster, and how much we’ve lost in this nation because hatred has polluted so many of us.
I hope we can find our way back. I hope November can be the beginning of the healing we need.
