Jonny Quest was unique in many ways, and it's truly one of a kind in Saturday morning TV. It was twice the budget of The Flintstones, and every other cartoon, full orchestra, characters died violently, the art was more nuanced. Sponsors hated it, and it lost money.

I do think this accomplishes the NBA's overall goal to reduce tanking. But it will also potentially hurt teams that NEED a top pick or 2 to become competitive, especially small market teams.

As someone who grew up in the San Joaquin Valley, this is about the most unsurprising thing ever. Not him being a rapist specifically, but The Beloved Labor Leader being a piece of shit was well known. Chavez's dudes used to beat the fuck out of illegals who were cutting in on their gigs and leave their unconscious bodies in our drainage ditches.

Think about it. When your pet walks in from another room just to find you, that means they were somewhere else for a moment… and decided to come see you. In their own simple way, their little brain thought about you. They wondered where you were, what you were doing, and they came looking for you. They didn’t need anything. They just wanted to be near you. That’s love in its purest form. Quiet, loyal, and completely unconditional.
