Ohmiword. 1. Debt: It was $5T 25 years ago when Cole first arrived in DC. That was probably before you were born. With his involvement in appropriations, it has ballooned to $38T. How? By cutting deals, saying YES to everything ( let's call it "compromise"!) instead of making hard decisions to cut spending and say NO, put America FIRST! It's APPALLING that someone your age completely discounts the debt as not serious, and you're happy and willing to carry it your whole life. No biggie! 2. DOGE: You're blissfully ignorant of actual legislative action. DOGE cut, zeroed out, a liberal propaganda NGO called National Endowment for Democracy. Cole dug it out of the garbage on Jan 14, 2026, reallocated $315M to it, hid it inside the State Dept budget bill. Then voted down (along with his Establishment cronies) 2 amendments meant to strip that crazy piece out. He works against DOGE in the shadows. 3. Conservative Voting Ratings? LOL. Please see attachment. "Above average"?? Something to be proud of??? A 58% is FLUNKING in the Real World, son. Ask his voters if they sent him to DC to represent them 58% of the time. Are you on Cole's payroll?? 4. There's a Congressional website that tracks bills and votes. You should use it instead of throwing around words like "rhetoric" and "conjecture." I'm done with this. Btw, he's NOT a Senator, but a Rep. I'm a busy lady. Good day.

If you’re making the argument that 38 trillion dollar debt is Senator Cole’s fault, then I’m sorry to say that you’re mistaken. The debt was there long before he arrived and will be there long after he’s gone. In fact, serving as the head of the Appropriations committee, he has facilitated the bills that brought through the much needed DOGE cuts. He is estimated to have cut around 9.4 BILLION dollars in government waste to groups like NPR and PBS. Now, regarding your baseless claim about his uniparty status, I’d say you have nothing other than silly X conjecture. In comparison, the Heritage Foundation gave Senator Cole an above average Conservative score. That’s something to be proud of. Rhetoric is a great skill to have as a politician, however, rhetoric absent factual evidence of claim is not great for our current political climate.

Are you aware that the "legislative change" they pass on a continuous basis is actually corruption fueled by the special interests and self interest they serve? I invite you to spend some time with my videos and learn about what is behind every single vote they make -- complicit corruption. You seem like a very nice man with a Pollyanna, naive view of government. You don't think there's a Uni-party? Please consider the similar inputs (all the same lobby donations to politicians) and consider the similar outputs (all the same outrageous votes across party lines). Can there be any other explanation? Consider new information, is all I ask.

If he was her sworn enemy, would that help him pass policy? No. Politics is partly the art of the possible and you can’t possibly make legislative change if you’re constantly squabbling. With the curveballs Congress has thrown the way of the appropriations committee this year, I’d say he’s done a fairly decent job. If trying your best to keep the peace makes you a part of the “Uniparty” then what are we gonna tell Jesus? (Matthew 5:9)

Politics is the practiced art of both thundering John Adams and of quiet George Washington. The loud politicians are often meant to change culture and the quiet are meant to change policy behind the scenes. Sometimes their roles can muddle together, but, nonetheless, you need both individual actors for the play that is Politics. So next time you see a TikTok clip of your local Senator rambling about “the WiFi’s” or see the other whispering with someone from across the aisle, just know that their verbal “messes” are really just pieces being added to a political mosaic that will hopefully push our country forward.

I think our country’s divide was caused by politics being centered in identity. But, I would go as far as to say that it’s more about what people place their identity in that is the problem. As Christians and conservatives, our identity is in Christ and from him flows our morality. We try to treat others how we’d like to be treated, we pray for our enemies, and we seek the good of the whole before our own good (quite like Christ’s sacrifice for us). The left puts their identity in the basest of guides which is passion. They are defined by who they want to sleep with, what they can get for free (welfare, free healthcare, and DEI), and absolutely freedom from all rules. All of it is centered in “what’s in it for me,” rather than “what is my duty.” One calls you to better society, the other calls society to better you. One builds, one steals. It’s the ideology not the ideologist that counts
